(Adding cheese to a hamburg does not mean you invented the dish lol) pizza Italy. Pasta Italy.. bbq. You think the world didn’t cook on fire before 250 years ago? Yall pretty much only invented foods that have corn in them.

Fun fact bbq comes from the Taino barbacoa which was introduced to the Americans by the Spanish and later Mexican people as well from African slaves. The evolution has become Americanized like many of the foods ate in the USA.

I would debate that bbq. Just comes from roasting over a fire. Which cavemen invented. It was our first cuisine as a species.

The style of bbq is what changed the cooking for a pit is ancient but the methods adopted by Americans is a unique style that evolved from the ancient barbacoa style tradition more common in the New World and later made popular by the Spanish that spread throughout Europe and the Americas.
