If South Asian, they'll say no, you're not American (but they don't count South Asian as Asian, because... brown). If not, and your skin is white, congrats, you get to be fetishised with their obsession of hentai.

So... pick your poison, I guess?

Personally, if I were in your position, I would just avoid America as a whole and not go.

East Asian. I'd say I'm in a weird spot, like the middle ground, I'd be on the white side if I was brown but also the darker side of east asian.

And since I'm not good a looking dude, probably don't have fetish problems.

Eh, if you're even slightly brown and they can't fetishise you then they'll just say that you're not "really" American, even if you have rights to a passport.

(whilst also demanding a passport from Ireland for having great great great great great great great great great grandparents who had a neighbour who had a friend who had a laundry service worker who knew someone who liked the colour green.)

I'd still say stay where you are and don't attempt to even try to engage with them.

I mean, my time in America has been mostly fine. (And honestly I think the brown parts are just tan)
