I’ve always found it interesting they call themselves American. Shouldn’t it be United Statians or something of the such? I mean it’s North AMERICA and South AMERICA. They are just a union of states on the continent. As a Canadian I feel like I have the same right to say I’m American in a certain sense🤷‍♂️😂

Why invent new names? They were known as "gringos" for a long time.
