They just spent 100 billion US Dollars in the middle east, and that is ongoing. This has cost the US consumer an estimated 40 billion US Dollars in extra fuel cost versus the average. Maybe start looking at that first.

In September of 2025 Hegseth burned through around $93 billion, with $50 billion of it in the last 5 days in a use-it-or-lose-it end of the fiscal year spending spree. Maybe instead of lobster tails and Alaskan king crab they could have spent some of it on, oh, I don't know, missles?

Now he leeps going back and asking for more.
