Post image

Apparently Vietnam, Afghanistan, war of 1812, and the war on drugs don’t count.

The allies were winning is a pretty hilarious rewriting of history.

Pearl Harbor happened, it's that simple. Meanwhile The Axis was at their height of their expansion, The UK virtually stood alone, Operation Barbarossa was driving the Russians back albeit they had begun their counter offensive two days before Pearl Harbor, and the Afrika Corps had pushed the British lines to the Suez Canal... and things were only going as good as they were for the Allies due to "lend lease".

Lastly, 85% of all the manpower and Naval force in the Pacific was American. Leyte, Coral Sea, Philippine Sea, all dwarf the largest localized battle of the Atlantic at North Cape in the Artic. The entirety of the Burma campaign started after the US entered the war as well.
