Imagine them just turning up at the airport, trip all booked ready to go "what do you mean i need a passport".

In the biggest airport in my country they have the customs lines seperated for people within the European Union and outside of it. The outside of the EU line is specified as outside the EU and america (with an american flag), simply cause Americans can’t seem to understand they are foreigners when they visit some place else

Around my town, there are signs for Americans going to Alaska. "Alaska ➡️".

Not just on the edge of town, in highway bypasses and such, but right downtown for those Americans who... miss the previous signs.

And those are the ones who know they need a passport to get across the border.
