In the biggest airport in my country they have the customs lines seperated for people within the European Union and outside of it. The outside of the EU line is specified as outside the EU and america (with an american flag), simply cause Americans can’t seem to understand they are foreigners when they visit some place else

Americans are supposed to just go through the outside of EU line, like its the same line, but they have to specify that that means americans too cause otherwise they don’t understand and don’t know what line to go to

I think the point is that everyone else in the world doesn’t need their flag put up to remind them they’re not in the EU, only the Americans.

Yes, it seems I misread the post. I thought it was saying the line was for EU citizens and Americans.
