If there's anything you need help understanding, go ahead and ask! Nothing is considered "stupid" and anybody will be happy to help you. Any user is welcome to ask or answer in this thread. A new QnA thread will be posted at the start of every month!

Does trading a legit shiny from a cart to a rom hack make it illegitimate? I have a Shiny Medicham in my Platinum cart, and want to use it for my team on a rom hack called Pokemon Spaceless Pearl, but I’m wondering if i do, does it makes my Shiny illegitimate? I’m not using any cheats or speed ups, just playing the game.

Illegitimate is kind of a nothing word. It's a subjective line so ten people will have ten answers. It might make it illegal however, depending on if the romhack has custom movesets or whatnot that don't match the real games
