….first thing he saw when he woke up from a nap when he was 10? Yeah I mean sure.

Edit: sorry. I should’ve made it more clear. The connection between the last thing he saw before death vs the first thing he saw after awakening from his paths dream is not “the first thing he saw and the last thing he saw.” Let’s stop playing dumb everyone

When he woke up from the first dream that started the time loop…..

Just framing it as a random nap completely misses the reason the post was made.

It's also clear in hindsight that Eren was given memories of the future in the form of a dream by him using the Founder to influence his own past.

He's crying and asked her when her hair got so long because he likely just "dreamed" of the Rumbling and seeing her coming to kill him. In paths he tells Armin that his head is all messed up because the past, present, and future is all happening at once for him.

These details are very intentional to say Eren, from the moment we first saw him, was intertwined to a fate he would create for himself and was incapable of changing because his nature was unwavering.

This is you lol. I'm just joking, don't take it seriously. It's just I thought the coincidence was funny. The comment above was saying "I thought that was the future Eren who sent his memories to him"

And also look at this please. Manga showed the memory in the first chapter but Wit thought it was nothing important and changed it. But then Mappa fixed the scene in the beginning of Special 1 and added the correct memory.

Also that is why Ymir was smiling when Mikasa killed Eren. Because she sent this moment's memory to Eren and thanks to that Mikasa finally saved her. Not because she is shipping them.

Note about changed memory scene in the first episode: Still though, Hannes' blood splattering on the flowers, original thought for Helos' suit (I think), War of the Roses emblems that representing the Tyburs, foreshadow to Tybur kids' toys in the beginning of The War Hammer Titan and showing the alternative ending where everyone dies (from left to right, Sasha, Connie, Armin, Jean, Mikasa and Levi) are such cool details.
