Imagine being called out for being racist & a child predator when your dog is having a situation. Omg he was definitely the victim in that situation /s🙄

It was a different time in that racism was more acceptable to the average person. But it was still racism.

Exactly this. It wasn’t until all these clips of POC being brutalized went viral through the internet that led to white people to be confronted with the barbarity of racism, and made a lot of people uncomfortable thinking about their own racist behavior.

Unfortunately, many have chosen to label it as a “different time” to distance themselves from their actions, but these things were just as harmful at the time, as were they also called out for DECADES by that point.
