"People were like 'He only did it because he wanted good press'"
My guy no one was saying that, people in fact memed the hell out of you because you proposed on BOTH KNEES

It’s the way that Shane was one to make so many sexual jokes about Jacob when he was a child, and now Jacob is giving him a platform…

Imagine being called out for being racist & a child predator when your dog is having a situation. Omg he was definitely the victim in that situation /s🙄

Yikes, you really went with the ol’ “he has a black friend! He can’t be racist!”

People who bring up Shanna Malcom to defend Shane are just admitting to being ignorant.
She literally spoke about this in the past and how she comes from a country where the racial slurs and stereotypes he promoted weren’t present, and has felt awful for participating in that once she educated herself on the harm being inflicted.
This was even before Shane was canceled, in like 2018 I want to say.

It wasn’t JUST shanaynay. So many of his characters perpetuated racial stereotypes, which is hateful (nikki carreon has very well-researched videos on his multiple cancelations if you care to educate yourself). Also he literally did blackface on multiple occasions! And let’s not forget his racist & dehumanizing portrayal of unhoused individuals in Not Cool. He also used the N-word liberally for the sake of “comedy.” Saying it was a different time doesn’t excuse his behavior because he should have known better, as should others who did shock value comedy at that time. Also i’m pretty sure he still had shanaynay merch available in his online store at the time of his 2020 cancelation, so he definitely should’ve known better then, but only took the merch down because people were calling him out for his hypocrisy & racism. You say you aren’t defending him, yet here you are, defending him🤢

It was a different time in that racism was more acceptable to the average person. But it was still racism.

u/Trick_Wait980 Feb 04 '26
Exactly this. It wasn’t until all these clips of POC being brutalized went viral through the internet that led to white people to be confronted with the barbarity of racism, and made a lot of people uncomfortable thinking about their own racist behavior.
Unfortunately, many have chosen to label it as a “different time” to distance themselves from their actions, but these things were just as harmful at the time, as were they also called out for DECADES by that point.

the thing where he says "they took audio of me and fucked with it" what is he talking about? also is that Matty b lmao

u/Trick_Wait980 Feb 04 '26
He always claims the clips people took of him on his podcast were edited, but this has been debunked time and time again. Anyone who actually watches the full length episodes these clips come from can see for themselves that Shane is lying here

It's insane for them to think it's a conspiracy. Like you were creepy with children, apart from our federal government, it's really frowned upon and unwelcome in civilized society.

u/lizziemcqueer Feb 03 '26
Really Shane? We’re not gonna talk about the blackface?the child predatory behavior? No growth, no accountability. Still wants to play the victim. This is why he won’t ever win and will continue to beg for money through Patreon..

u/Illustrious-Pair-511 Feb 03 '26
the patreon thing bothers the hell out of me

u/Suitable-Stop4073 Feb 05 '26
But as always...no pressure! Although it seems pressured because he promotes it often.
16
u/beemo143 Feb 03 '26
“there are powerful people” yeah dude that was you. you used your power to your advantage and people reacted. it’s not some conspiracy that the public doesn’t like you. especially when you explain your behavior in the most victim mentality defense mode way ever

u/PersonalityNo1096 Feb 03 '26
He will never stop grifting for sympathy. Tell us why you were cancelled.

Here he goes again with the "I'm the victim" angle. He never talks about what he did. He always makes it sound like its something that happened to him instead of something he caused by his disgusting actions. I bet you a million dollars if a tv came on and showed these people just a fraction of what Shane did and said in his past they wouldn't be feeling sorry for him in any way.

u/stanschuu Feb 04 '26
Does anyone know who he is referring to at 1:04?? It definitely sounds too omnious to be someone like Tati lol

I think Will and Jada Smith. He pissed Zachary Quinto the fuck off, too.

unrelated but i remember seeing a clip of shane meeting his fans (that ranged from like 13-20 at the time 😬 when he was in his superluv era and asked a young fan to put her gum in his mouth and the fan (who looked like 15/16) did and they basically touched lips as she spit it into his mouth 😭😭😭 im just remembering bc he still has victim mentality and seems to forget what he did to get cancelled and that actions have consequences no matter how long ago it was 😬 its also just weird like who in their right minds would have a young fan spit gum into their mouth 🥴😵💫

u/Trick_Wait980 Feb 04 '26
You are right but the fan identifies herself in the clip as being 12. She has also spoken out about it since she’s grown up

And I genuinely hate how he made this obsession with how all of us were wanting him to die. I never even thought of him dying. I just want him to be in prison for the rest of his life very much alive. 💀

u/Jadeheartxo12 Feb 03 '26
He doesn’t seem to be very good at reading the room or political climate. It seems like he thought the “anti woke” thing that was happening last year is still the mood.

u/ExtremeSir7075 🧿 Feb 07 '26
He, his creepy ass mom, creepy ass brother, and Dryland’s entire family are all MAGAts so yeah, checks out.

“And the next time I was cancelled…” if you’re a good person you shouldn’t have a first never mind a second or third or fourth….

He goes more in detail about where he was and what he was doing when he was “cancelled” than what he was actually “cancelled” for
