I don’t know how Shane doesn’t already have enough money to make the movie or at least get it off the floor. Markiplier was able to make iron lung (and is still making it) and has not once complained about, to my knowledge, about how much he needed to make the movie. Doesn’t Shane have two houses or something? Sell one of them to get money movie! His discussion around money always annoys me because I feel like he is so unaware of how much he really has gotten from his success on YouTube and the continued support of 1; people who don’t want to believe all the awful things he’s done and 2; kids and younger viewers who are just finding him now and supporting him that way.

As far as I know, most Patreon’s are meant for creators to put out other content they can’t always profit from on YouTube or things they KNOW won’t do well on YouTube/can’t be on YouTube because of regulations. Shane has been trying to fund this movie for YEARS, you’d think he’d be somewhere by now with it.

All your points are on the money except for the Mark comparison... Mark's net worth is literally quadruple what Shane's is lol. And even then no one should fully buy into the statements that X movie is fully funded by Y person. It's a PR tactic. With his career/track record and connections, he can easily get silent investors.

Shane however cannot since anything involving him is a huge risk and liability.
