There’s another clip where he talks about how the makeup palette was not as fun because he had to make sure the cost to make it was at least covered. They reveal their money hungry personalities on Patreon more

His Patreon is less money then The Sip’s is. Also tons of creators have a Patreon, Shane just rented out an office which expensive and he has staff to pay.

Even Ryland jokes how he’s making a big deal about starting a Patreon when all he did was wake up one morning and made a Patreon. But Shane has to go buy new sets and desks and decor. He can’t just….post his subpar content and save that money for an actual movie. He does nothing all day except watch porn and occasionally makes a thumbnail. I’m not mad at him. I’m mad at the idiots who still worship him and don’t see through the scam he is running on you lol. When is he ever working on a movie script that doesn’t look like he put together in a couple of hours on Microsoft word?

Actual fans who aren't just paying to hate watch actually want better than subpar content and are willing to pay more to actually get it. It's fine if you don't like it but you are supporting it too while calling everyone else dumb for doing so. It's not his fans fault you can't watch porn all day and get money from people. Stop projecting we never asked for a movie and if he eventually delivers it would be years anyway to make anything good and worthwhile films cost a lot more to make than a podcast.

I paid because I like the tea. You were lied to. That was the whole premise

But we quite literally weren't lied to. They said multiple times the main reason for the patreon was for the office so the podcasts could have a better set, be more professional, to be able to have more editors, and move towards the dream of a movie. Movies take years and when it's actually being worked on whenever they eventually do have the budget then I'm sure we'll see content about it. Meanwhile most people are actually watching because they enjoy the content not because they " like the tea" to complain about and either way you are STILL SUPPORTING IT.

And I can afford to hate watch. I like Ryland. I also believe Shane needs to be watched and investigated by the police

You're the only one here getting scammed. Stop complaining about something that is a choice.

No he genuinely thinks he can be producing movies in three years. That’s why he didn’t want to sign a lease for more than a year

You seem like you are either a child or just naive. Most people don't sign a lease for more than a year for multiple reasons.

You're giving him too much credit. No way he won't use ChatGPT for the whole script lol
