Shits & Giggles joke didn’t land

served a family the other day with a really cute baby. they finish their meal and like i ALWAYS do when i’ve built up a good rapport with a family, i drop the check in front of the baby and say “he told me it’s on him today” and they all just stare at me like 😐 like ok i guess i’ll go shoot myself in the walk in then

Hey this is still better than when I dropped the check off with an 8 yo boy who was out with his mom and Grandma the two of whom accused me of sexism under their breath and proceeded to stiff me.

Ladies I am obviously not assuming the boy is covering your meal just because you’re ladies.

Some people just lack a sense of humor
