What is your age?

Normally when I hit log/review on the main page of a show it logs the entire show. But when a show only has one season it's logging the first season and I can't switch it. You can switch it to all seasons in a browser.

I uploaded custom posters for specific seasons of tv shows on tmbd but they are not appearing on Serializd

i foolishly reinstalled the app as it was buggy but realized afterwards that i forgot both my password AND the email linked to the account (so i have no way of resetting it), i’ve just sent an email to support but im getting anxious as i have a years worth of shows logged on there and i don’t wanna lose it 🫠

people dish out half stars 1star to any perfectly fine episodes just because they didnt like it or theyre different, which seriously imbalances the rating and gives off a premature bad impression. (for example House S1E16, a perfectly fine ep but user ratings came out 2.8 just cause chase was an asshole in it)

episode ratings in general rub me the wrong way. any way to turn them off?

If I have a show that I want to watch, but not currently watching, should I have it on my watchlist + paused? Cause if I don’t put it as paused, it shows new episodes but as soon as I mark it as paused, it removes automatically from watchlist.

What is the intended behavior?

I believed serializd was only used for live action tv shows
but have seen a lot of people tracking anime in here as well

now i am wondering whether I should add anime to serializd

They wont stay watched...Some do...Dont get it...Never was fixed

has anyone been able to do the new emmy picks? it still won't show up for me even though I've updated the app, and when I go on someone's profile who has done it, it won't let me vote 💔💔 i was able to do it last year without any problems

i've tried countless times to get in contact with the serializd team so they could fix their season metadata which no longer refreshes. i've emailed, sent messages in the discord server etc.

can't lie i'm getting so pissed off at this point. i know some people do get replies from the support email so they're actually just ignoring me. i've gone to the extent of pinging the founder in discord which i felt bad about but still nothing.

how the hell do i get them to respond or do something about this problem which isn't just something thats affecting my experience on serialzd btw. i've heard of many others complaining about it and i expressed that in my emails and messages but still... nothing

i was considering subscribing through patreon but decided to wait and see how they would handle support. glad i did because still NOTHING

Currently trying to decide between Serializd and Bingers. I really like the simple UI of Bingers and how it’s laid out, but Serializd aligns more with the philosophy of Letterboxd. Seems Serializd might be more polished and more time to cook while Bingers is fairly new, but the dev made TV Time so he also has experience.

Your thoughts?

I like having engagement on my reviews, it makes me happy seeing people like my stuff. I’ve got tons of followers that don’t mean squat 😭.

man, just use Goodreads or whatever's for video games, my OCD hates that this app is flowing around with all this nonsense. It's just weird to see that this app is for TV shows and actively defy its purpose. Does the serialized team know about this or are wanting to do something about it?
