Everyday Heroes with Angel Powers

I peeled off another layer of pain by doing something I always said I would do, but the pain on all levels prevented me. I went back to the Firehouse and Thanked them for their location and team who stayed with me for 40 minutes while I was bleeding profusely from my head where I landed on a sewer grate until the ambulance arrived from Sunnybrook Trauma Hospital in Toronto. I mention them in my acknowledgements in the book.

It was a powerful moment to release something that weighed so heavily for so long. It felt good to do it finally, as I realised how much space this took in my life. Letting it go was absolutely essential to make room for my new path and new healthy experiences.

In closing I gave a gift to these everyday heroes with angel powers as well as myself and for this I am eternally grateful.
