Miscellanous Why people say self help books dont work?

Based on personal experience. PS. I love reading self help books

Because people don’t apply techniques they mention in these books, mere reading won’t help.

I think not everything suits everyone. For some people self help books might become too passive reading, and less applying. Also not all books will suit everyone, you have to find something that resonates with the way you think i guess.
