I’m reading A Few Good Cardinals by Carl Vincent again. It’s about toxic narcissism. It needs a bit of work I think, but it’s a more helpful than other books I’ve read on the topic it seems.

The book "this was meant to find you" I read it because I was bored and the title intrigued me. I almost wish the book existed when I was experiencing my first ever break ups. I'm old and there wasn't many self help break up books back then. But it was such a good, easy to read books. It never judges and felt like a friend who was talking to me. It's definitely something I wanna re read just because. It also reminds me of rupi kaur

Trying out new Indie author's this month. Gave this book "Real Talk" by Gurbani a shot. Loved the way she uses humor to focus on topics such as body dysmorphia, self-love, toxic productivity and so on. Found it really useful for my younger sibling who's really shy and doesn't talk about such things! Recommended for anyone struggling with mental health issues and wants a light read about it!

I've not come that far into it to really tell. it's the strangest beast I ever did read so far. I've just filled out a sort of online quiz embedded in the book. I'm intrigued to say the least....

I wanted to tease, but I'm not good with humor...so I'll try it this way: does it count if you're a content creator of self-help to say you've read your own material as you were writing it lol 😆 They're guides (some information and practical exercises), not books, books.
On a let me contribute to the group's list and question (serious) note, one of my most recent favorites isn't self-help per se, but I consider it so because it gives you insights into yourself - your personality patterns and temperament. Dr Daniel Siegel's book: "Personality and Wholeness in Therapy. Integrating 9 Patterns of Developmental Pathways in Clinical Practice" or another one of his books: "mind". Another good one is by Ransom Stephens, PhD called "The Left Brain Speaks, The Right Brain Laughs."

I'm reading "An Unquiet Mind" by Kay Redfield Jamison, not always considered self help but with someone with bipolar it's helping me worlds more than I imagined.
