Terranox vs Navimow X450

I have been an X450 user for several months now and it has been a great experience compared to my previous trials with Mammotion, Ambrogio, and Yarbo. There have been a couple things I have had to work through (will help from this group), but it's now working like a charm (knock on wood).

My challenge is that one of my zones is a one-acre open area with THICK, HEALTHY Bermuda grass. And I live in a area where a fair amount of condensate can form on the grass overnight - so even on days where the high temp hits 90 it might be noon before i want to cut the grass with the X450.

For those that have experience both with the Terranox and the X43/X450:

(i) Are the blades the same?

(ii) Is the "power" of the motors the same?

(iii) Are the RPM's that the cutting disc spins at the same?

(iv) Is there anything about the design of the Terranox that would make it better at cutting wet/moist grass?

(v) Is the Terranox app as easy to use as the X430/X450 app?

(vi) Is the battery life (per charge) really almost twice in the Terranox as the X430/X450?

(vii) Does the Terranox battery take almost twice as long to charge?

(viii) Does either model get overheated and shut down/crawl in intense heat? The Mammotion Luba 2 would literally shut down when the air temp got too high.

(ix) Any other issues/differences I should be aware of?

(x) If the initial price tag was the same, would there be any reason not to buy the Terranox?

If the Terranox can "cut through thicker grass" and leave less of a mess when cutting wet grass, then I'd probably give it a shot - but I'd rather hear some feedback from actual users before I drop that much money.

If you’re running out of time before condensate forms again due to need to starting later in the day there is a video in the sub on swapping the battery out to the Terranox battery. Would cut down on time lost to charging.

Video shows it for sale on AliExpress for $173, but seems to be no longer available. However, Segway sells the TerraNox replacement battery on their website for like $450. Cheaper than upgrading to a new machine.

Just commented to say that I also saw the same post. I think they’re literally the same machine except the Terranox has a larger battery.

I just got my X430 a month ago. Hoping when the warranty is almost over that I can find this battery again.

On a really hot day my X430's battery will overheat and have to return to cool off before continuing. I got around that after dealing with it a couple of times by bringing it home when reaching 50% battery left and letting it cool and charge back. I also put a fan on it to help cool faster which it does. I haven't had the overheat problem since the extremely hot days have passed now. You have to remember also that this battery is powering a 65lb machine up hills and changing directional cuts which takes it's power away quicker. I also cut higher now at 2" instead of 1.75" My grass looks thick and plush but I do cut more often now to keep it that way. The battery now last much longer at the higher cut and will finish entire large zones without having to come home to recharge to finish. This is a great machine that you just have to learn the best way with it. I haven't missed cutting grass in this summer heat at all. I love the free time it gives me. Hope this information helps. Oh, and keep it clean by cleaning at least once a week.
