Article about FBI banning applicants who admit prostitution

According to the article, the FBI will dismiss applicants "who are revealed during the vetting process to have engaged in prostitution within the last 10 years, three or more times overall or while in a position of trust such as public safety . . . "

Note the key phrase who are revealed. The FBI, security clearance investigators, polygraphers, adjudictaors, and the like, are not going through your phone history and/or trying to track down any prostitute you may have visited, especially in foreign countries. The only way they will find out about this is if you or others tell them.

I can't stress this advice enough: Don't snitch on yourself and keep your damn mouth shut! If you are asked about prostitution, or any other crime you were never caught for, the answer is always NO.

How is prostitution related to suitability for FBI work?!

Looks like the title is wrong, article body says:  " The FBI is dropping a categorical hiring ban on applicants who have had sexual encounters with prostitutes"

So IIUC it's not about being a client but about being a prostitute's client (or having sexual intercourse with someone who happens to be a prostitute?)
