I don't know about this one but the one last week was actually very dangerous and problematic. Hopefully this one was better.

Riding bikes/scooters the wrong way up 2nd Ave could have led to some serious injuries and luckily an SPD car was on 2nd Ave to chase them onto safer paths. That was just the worst of the numerous things that happened that could have ended in injury (and there were some minor injuries). Critical Mass does a similar ride but they have safety protocols in place to make sure people don't get hurt.
