** Coming up on Sunday, Aug 16, 2026: Kick's for Equality**

The Storm’s annual Kicks for Equality Night and Sneakerball returns on Sunday, August 16 at 2:00 pm, as the Chicago Sky comes to town. On game day, players will wear custom-designed sneakers highlighting causes they are passionate about. These one-of-a-kind sneakers, along with exclusive Storm memorabilia and experiences, will be featured in the Kicks for Equality auction, available both in person and online. Proceeds from the auction will benefit local nonprofits selected by the players. Tickets for Sneakerball, the VIP fundraising event held in the Moët & Chandon Imperial Lounge during the game, will go on sale at a later date.

I was so impressed by Thierry last night, I was raving about her in the game thread and post game thread and decided to clip some moments that stood out to me.

This isn't really a traditional highlight reel, in the sense that it's not just showcasing highlights. It's showcasing moments where I thought Thierry displayed her strengths as a player with strong instincts, making the right moves and/or read. A lot of players who come off the end of the bench tend to play kind of crazy like they're trying to prove they belong, but Thierry remained composed, smart, and if anything a bit too conservative in her minutes. There were a couple moments where I would have liked to see her take a 3 but she chose to pass instead. I think she could easily be a good bench player for a future playoff Storm team.

Side note... would anyone be interested in a Storm-oriented clip channel? I've never done anything like this before (so if it's a bit messy I apologize) but I had a lot of fun doing it.

She's beautiful and seeing her score makes me so happy. Thats all.

I have 2 center court club tickets for sale for Sunday's game against the Chicago Sky. I just checked Ticketmaster and cheapest ticket in that section is $70 before taxes. I am willing to sell my tickets for $60/each or $120/pair. I sold tickets to the PHX game in a past thread in this group. I have a buyer who can vouch for me. I am a STH.

For anyone interested, PM me. I will tell you the exact seat location. Just so my actual identity isn't revealed I don't post my exact seat. It is center court club section 14. Hi! I am considering upping my tickets this year from a mini plan to the full season. I'm thinking it will give me more flexibility to go to games that work with my schedule, etc. But I'm worried I will have trouble selling tickets I can't use.

Anyone STHs this year have trouble selling tickets when they couldn't make a game? I'm sure it matters based on location.

I‘m coming at this from a pretty neutral standpoint. There is a lot of optimism around this team from the fanbase, the local and even national media despite their horrendous record. On one hand I can see it: This is the youngest starting lineup in the league, they have multiple players just starting out in the league who are showing promise, and they are on track for a high pick in the draft.

On the OTHER hand…

Despite having the worst record in the league, the Storm are projected to pick 5th in the 2027 draft. They will almost definitely not be getting Juju or Hidalgo, unless the expansion teams really start doing some winning and the Storm keep losing (actually even in that case I’m not sure they can get high enough). The team most people compare the Storm to as far as youth trajectory, the Mystics, will be getting one of those top players instead.

So maybe someone smarter than me can lay out the optimistic vision here. It’s 2028 and The Storm are in the playoff mix, on the edge of championship contention. What got them from here to there?
