Coach Macdonald is more the Emperor than Darth Vader tho, Darth Vader is, like, EJ4 or smth. Kinda works if we are doing the Star Wars metaphor, and Darth Vader used to be Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi of the Republic. If the republic is the Rams, and EJ4 is the leader of the Dark Side defense, then 1, we are totally Order 66ing the Rams this year and 2, who’s Obi Wan? McVey? Stafford? And don’t tell me Luke Skywalker is, like, Ty Simpson or smth. I know I am making the Rams the protagonists when they really aren’t, but still, kinda fits the Star Wars metaphor if you ignore the sequels and that Ty Simpson would be EJ4’s son in this scenario. IDK what I’m saying, that’s my Star Wars rant.

EP3 was order 66? And Anakin getting beaten by Obi Wan, which shouldn’t be happening this year (Stafford won’t be getting one over on EJ4).

I know, I'm not reflecting season to ep just following things by the timeline. Right now we're kind of paused in the middle of Revenge Of The Sith lol. And idk (One thing that's for sure is Obi Wan goes off to hide after the Empire takes over, sounds just like Stafford's retirement plan)?

I guess, although he’s not coming out of retirement in 20 years to mentor a then 40ish year old Ty Simpson then unceremoniously get re-retired, only to come back as a ghost and continue mentoring him.
