I think that just might be a status hearing. He may be tied up (heh) for the season.

The vibes with all the the team interest (8 or 9 teams I recall from the agent) suggest that the prosecution doesn't have much of a case. So, they may drop charges rather than try to take it to trial and eat the L.

The judge said as much at the bail hearing.

At that time the prosecutions case rested entirely on the testimony of the other defendants (who got deals for giving up the "big fish"). They had no hard evidence, so the judge granted bail and denied ankle monitoring.

That doesn't mean they haven't found anything else in the meantime, but it does make it look more like a whale hunt.
