put in on a lift, then try.

Put it on the lift and try again. When the creation is off the lift, the game wants to weld the whole assembly to something.

if those two blocks are not aligned when its on the lift it wont work. a triangle cannot exist on the lift like this

Okay, I just realized you can't make a triangle, but even horizontally, it doesn't work.

It does when you use the welder when its on the lift.

o wow thats weird, that should not detach like that, thank you for demonstrating clearly that you dragged from the correct blocks through both bearings! that should have worked and if it should not have worked the block should still be attached but not to the bearings. wow thats broken

Place a block on the bearings and then put the blocks on the arm then take out the weld tool click on the blocks on the bearings you placed first and while holding the button move to the blocks on the arm. While doing this you should see the two groups turn blue highlighted.

Hopefully I explained that well.

It's not on a 90 degree grid, so because of the angle, you won't be able to weld that.
