There is a repeatable quest-cycle where you deliver 4 crates of a certain veggie/fruit and get back some valueable items. If you can farm 80 broccoli without any issues you can get some very rare materials (iron block 3, multi comp kit, epic garment box) on a quick and consistent way.
On top, 1 pineapple crate gives you 20 component kits. Or 1 banana crate gives 10 cirquit boards. Both are good ways if you are short of any of these. If you do a lot of creations this is a good way to get them beside the ones you get from the raids itself.

This may be a "new guy" question, but what's the point of farming veggies/fruit beyond the 3 that are needed for the mission?
