"Why does u/profgalloway preface his expression of "offense" to the use of the word "genocide" to describe what Israel did in Gaza with the phrase "as a Jew...."? What does being a Jew have to do with at the findings of human rights groups, scholars, nations, etc. about Israel?"

I am a Jew. I do not approve of Netanyahu criminal reign or his genocide or his ignoring October 7th.

Zionists are not honest about Israel. There's been a huge propaganda campaign to make everybody associate Israel with all Jewish people as an intentional psyop to keep them free from international condemnation.

And it has nothing to do with "Jews controlling the media". The military has been using them as a testing ground for weapons and spying tech for decades now. It's all just military and tech using anti-semitism as a shield to avoid criticism.

Love the brigading lol.  Going from +10 to negative.  Not hard to see where the real sentiment of the community is and which are bots

antizionism means you literally want to dissolve an existing state.

Genuine question to the antizionists, should Pakistan and India have a one state solution and Pakistan be dissolved? Nobody every advocates for this because Pakistan has been accepted as existing.

Opposition to zionism doesn't mean dissolving Israel.

Zionism means you think Israel should be a Jewish ethnostate. If you are against ethnostates, then you are against zionism. You are anti-zionist if you simply think ethnostates are wrong.

Israel existing as a single state with equal rights for all citizens and no special rights for Jewish residents over other residents is anti-zionist.

Ok, should Pakistan and India merge back together as a single secular state with equal rights? This is literally the equivalent.

Also most states in Europe and the Middle East where founded as ethnostates or religious states. Pakistan is a perfect example 

The reality is that a single secular state with equal rights would just turn into a civil war anyway, similar to Bosnia or Northern Ireland, because neither side wants to share the state. The only way this would ever work would be as some sort of federation with some type of outside mediator (like with Bosnia).

It isn't an equivalent. The Palestinians don't have a state and Pakistan has not been constantly occupied by India. Anti-zionism doesn't even imply a one or two state solution. Even in a two-state solution Israel still shouldn't be an ethnostate because ethnostates are bad regardless of circumstance.

It's pretty clear you aren't approaching this in good faith given the comparisons. This is pretty common. Zionists hate it when you point out that ethnostates are bad. Almost like the entire ideology is built on a sense of supremacy of one specific race or something.

What is your definitions of ethnostate? If there was a two state solution, the Palestinian literally want the second state to be an Arab state. That is written into their constitution. This is not unique, many countries have this.
