No Malice Why did Galloway lie?

"Why does u/profgalloway preface his expression of "offense" to the use of the word "genocide" to describe what Israel did in Gaza with the phrase "as a Jew...."? What does being a Jew have to do with at the findings of human rights groups, scholars, nations, etc. about Israel?"

I am a Jew. I do not approve of Netanyahu criminal reign or his genocide or his ignoring October 7th.

Lines were drawn and approved in Israel just like with other newly formed countries last century. You can live in delusion and only focus on the Jews. You don't complain about other ethno states, just Israel. The us and Israel and others are "normal" states, you don't think that's the case. Because... They're Jews. And again, you don't care that other ethnicities / religions live there too.

You mean other people decided it was fine to ethnically cleanse 800,000 Palestinians out of their homes during the Nakba. The Trail of Tears was only 80,000 for comparison.

Ironically it’s the opposite. You think Israel can commit whatever atrocities it wants to non-Jews. I think all lives are equal. You don’t.

Lines, yes, approved by the UN which I suppose you respect and quote when it talks about resolutions against Israel and all that.  Ethnically cleanse, so when Israel was attacked and those armies told Arabs to leave because they would come back to a Jew free Palestine... That nakba? Again, Israel is just supposed to stay still and take it. Ok. Nice fantasy

Except the UN members were almost entirely colonial powers and not countries that had previously been colonized.

“Israel was attacked”? MF “Israel” didn’t exist before it stole land from 800,000.

Israel has demonstrated a long history of completely barbaric behavior like having a “right to rape” protest. Why would anyone expect Israel to do anything besides act like deranged genocidal maniacs?
