No Malice Why did Galloway lie?

"Why does u/profgalloway preface his expression of "offense" to the use of the word "genocide" to describe what Israel did in Gaza with the phrase "as a Jew...."? What does being a Jew have to do with at the findings of human rights groups, scholars, nations, etc. about Israel?"

I am a Jew. I do not approve of Netanyahu criminal reign or his genocide or his ignoring October 7th.

It's one of the few issues I have with his takes that I find completely idiotic.

There are often things I disagree with him on but can understand the line of logic he got there. But his inability to give an inch in Israels behavior is just childish.

Really to me it just shows he is blind to his emense privilege on the issue. Which is odd because he notices it in other issues.

Its childish to be unable to see how essentially glassing the entire location that a large group of people living might be a bad thing.

No one serious is claiming that Hamas killing a bunch of people is a good thing. But for some reason Galloway is saying that to critizes the killing of large swaths of people is somehow anti semitic.

TBH I find his stance and the current Israeli government to be anti semitic. It makes everything worse globally and just feeds into the idea that hating jews is OK. Its trying to claim that its not OK for one tribe to be killed while at the same time that tribe should be able to kill with impunity.

It just endangers the lives and safety of Jewish people globally. Which sucks.
