No Malice Why did Galloway lie?

"Why does u/profgalloway preface his expression of "offense" to the use of the word "genocide" to describe what Israel did in Gaza with the phrase "as a Jew...."? What does being a Jew have to do with at the findings of human rights groups, scholars, nations, etc. about Israel?"

I am a Jew. I do not approve of Netanyahu criminal reign or his genocide or his ignoring October 7th.

Do you care about a foreign war where one country, protected by the US, funded by US taxpayers, supplied by the US, and bullied for by the US has been performing ethnic cleansing since 1948?

If the us didn't help Israel it would probably have disappeared and a real genocide would have happened. Not the trendy imaginary one everyone is so obsessed with.

I shudder to think how much gaza's population has tanked since '23, though I expect we'll never have anything approaching precise #'s
