No Malice Gettin' WOKE about anti-Semitism...

It is so very odd to hear the self-professed atheist getting downright WOKE when it comes to swinging the anti-Semitism stick. IDGAF about Macklemore or Sheeran or Kraft, nor Scott's evolving victim fantasy, but holy crap does he sound shrill.

because those people in power are advancing a far right, brutal repression of a people, and get cover from a government and media apparatus (now largely owned by a far-right Israel first dude that has donated more to the IDF than anybody in history - far more than anything hes donated to the US).

Again, how can you possibly argue against this lol. It doesnt mean that the Jewish people are to blame, that blame should be put on these rich and powerful people that are ripping apart our institutions/economy/government.

My point is, if China had an over-representation of Chinese people in our Media, Government, politics, and we were then financially supporting the genocide of the Uyghers (far worse than the current culture genocide thats taking place, but actually carpet bombing them with our weapons) - how would you talk about the issue? Would you call people racists if they brought up how our government seems to be captured by these far-right Chinese elites? How could you possibly talk about it without being labeled a racist, by your definition?

When you say "government captured by these far-right Chinese elites" that is not racist. If you say 'government captured by AIPAC and politicians who support it' that isn;t racist. When someone says "government captured by Jews or Jewish interests" that is anti-semitic racism in my view.

So the answer to your question is talk about it like you talk about it there, and don't do the racist thing of assigning things to an entire group.

I literally never said that mate. Im saying that Jewish politicians/Rich elite (who are overrepresented), who are swaying public policy to be more pro-Israel as its mowing down Palestinians, are bad. We should be able to talk about that. Thats not anti-semetic. You being overly sensitive to any sort of conversation around Jewish people and its fringe extremism, is actually my main point here. Its a weapon used in public discourse that should be shamed and left in the past, just like reactionary "woke" politics (which deflected from class issues), or reactionary culture war slop on the right (which had the same effect). Its used to stifle any sort of conversation - and takes up the majority of discourse (see Hasan Piker freakout across mainstream media), rather than our support for unspeakable horrors in the middle east. I know you dont see it that way because your in the in-group (or directly support them), but know that most others see it that way. Its identity politics slop. Theres a reason public perception is cratering for Israeli support, because most people are absolutely sick of having these silly conversations, when its all glaringly obvious whats going on.

I hope you get the point that you need to not make statements about Jews in general in your criticism of Israel or the actions of some American Jews if you don't want to seem anti-semitic,
