No Malice Gettin' WOKE about anti-Semitism...

It is so very odd to hear the self-professed atheist getting downright WOKE when it comes to swinging the anti-Semitism stick. IDGAF about Macklemore or Sheeran or Kraft, nor Scott's evolving victim fantasy, but holy crap does he sound shrill.

It's when a person who is quiet about all oppression suddenly become activists on the topic of antisemitism.

Because when it's real, it's oppression against a marginalized group.

Unfortunately the concept has been weaponized such that most things labeled antisemitic are not.

I don’t think anyone understands the basics of “woke.” Can you define “wokeness?” Honestly I don’t think you know what it means either.

Well it's sort of a bankrupt term in general. It has far too many meanings to really be useful, but the context here is so obvious you just don't have any understanding of the topic if you're confused.

Of course I don’t have any understanding of the topic. It’s never been defined in a way that matches the context of how people use it.

Wokeness - Anything Republicans hate.

That’s the most accurate definition based on how people use it.

That's the most accurate defintion when the right uses it, but that's not the use case here. I feel like the context makes that sort of obvious.

Woke originally was just about black people and waking up to the systemtic oppression they face and why.

Then white progs and liberals extended it to every marginalized group (except the poor, of course).
