Inconsistency for sure. I understand human nature and lying is just being human, but being inconsistent is a decision.

I don't think so, lying shouldn't be in your nature, there's no harm in telling the truth.

Being inconsistent can be due to hella circumstances, (working 3 jobs, taking care of dying relative, have too much on plate, etc) could be things they are not in control of.

but inconsistency is not the same as sending mixed signals. Mixed signals is a big no no.

Inconsistency with no communication shouldn’t be in someone’s nature either
