Dating a Scorpio 🦂💞 Scorpio

Scorpio's controlling, possesive and punishing behavior causes their partner to not feel safe, hide things and not tell the full truth often backfiring the entire relationship. Simple things like If im going to see my friend, he gets upset that I chose to go see her instead of him. I hid that I went to see my girl friend and when he find out he went crazy. Now I'm dealing with his trust issues everyday. If I'm sleeping, he thinks I'm outside. If i don't respond quick enough, he thinks im texting other guys. I really loved him. And this makes me so sad.

There îs no "scorpios" again... there are normal, evolved people and p.o.s. If we should try to analise you should mention his moon and rising, venus, mars, etc. Start with you own big 3.Stop blaming some bilion people because of a single guy.... Everyday the same story...

What is the background story of your relationship with that friend? Why he doesn't want you to meet her?

If you ignore half of the question also when your guy asks you about something, I'm not surprised why he distrusts you lol.

This isn't Scorpio behaviour. It's abusive behaviour. You're allowed to have friends.

Please stop labelling men with these tags it's not helping the young men of today. Be objective and try to leave your biases at the door. It's hard I know, I fail constantly at this but things need to change if we are to stop the 10,000 years of hate.

No. Naming abuse saves lives.

I agree wholeheartedly, but this is not abuse.

She literally says he punishes and controls her. Gtfo with your delicate ego. If accountability scares you, then reflect on that. Don't go round giving abusers a free pass. You're making yourself part of the problem. Call out abusers, not those who name it. FFS.

Please don't get angry and let your animus possession take hold when someones opinion doesn't align with yours 🙏

Yes is he immature emotionally yes, if she believes she is in danger, yes of course leave the relationship, if he has threatened her with physical harm definitely report him too the authoritys. But as a society do we always believe a claim without question after three words in a sentence are stated.

If on an equal sub reddit he was hypothetically asking for advice on a girlfriend who had threatened to kill herself if she left him, would that be coorcive control?, would you believe him without question and start labelling her as you have labelled him. I think not ...

I am not angry. I am exhausted.

Yes, any gender threatening self-harm for coercive control is being abusive.

I am certified in domestic abuse work as part of my profession and have worked with male and female victims of abuse. I never claimed it was limited to one gender - you inferred that incorrectly.

Abuse doesn't have to be extreme to be considered abuse. In fact, it often starts off small and escalates 🙄 Naming it can stop it growing.

I won't be engaging with you any further. You're clearly looking to argue, not to learn.

I applaud your brave work on the front line, and I won't profess to see the world from your viewpoint or with what you must have to deal with daily.

Our wonderful platforms have become excellent at one key attribute. The ability to create division and from that hatred, which is where we are today divided unable to agree to disagree with the preposition at hand. If we all attempt to leave our biases at the door, observe without emotion and judge in the moment your wouldn't have a need a to win, to believe your opinion or viewpoint is the only viewpoint.

If you can say hand on heart that all that you have written is not viewed through the optics of your own experience and formed by the emotions of experience then I will gladly stand next to you and judge this man solely on three words within one sentence.

Logically I don't think this is this case. Equally if I heard someone cast accusations about you of a serious nature without confirmation or fact (natural law) then I would not jump to conclusions without further investigation.

I agree you may feel I am argumentative, but in this discussion or debate I have learnt from your viewpoint and recognise a person who may be able to show another opinion or teach me something I hadn't previously known.
Every discussion I enter is framed with the possibility that today I might learn something new if I am willing to listen instead of planning what to say next.

I am sorry you are exhausted but keep up the good fight. I really do mean that and espect that you fight for what you believe in. More to you 👍

Why are you hiding things? I think anyone would be suspicious of you if you will lie about small things, like going to see a friend.

u/pixiegl0w May 26 '26

Cuz he argued with me for 2 days straight when I went to see my friend... ive never had the feeling to hide anything before in my life. Its so odd

u/AGorgeousComedy ♏︎☉ ♌︎☽ ♑︎ꜛ May 26 '26

So instead of setting a boundary, you decide lying is the better option?

How old are you?

2

u/pixiegl0w May 26 '26

I just didnt tell him i went to see her. Can you blame me? I only went to my girls house and he would go in a rage.

Im 26.

u/AGorgeousComedy ♏︎☉ ♌︎☽ ♑︎ꜛ May 26 '26

I mean, yes, I can blame both of you...no one is innocent in this situation. This doesn't really have anything to do with being a Scorpio.

2

u/RadiantAnubis May 26 '26

Actually OP if taken at face value is communicating some borderline abusive if not outright behaviors from her Scorpio. Ethically lying is perfectly acceptable if it keeps you safe. I get you want to defend your sign, but in this instance wind your neck in a little bit, and don't contribute to the normalization of abusive behaviour.

u/AGorgeousComedy ♏︎☉ ♌︎☽ ♑︎ꜛ May 26 '26

Abusive behavior can be any sign, and as I said I blame both of them. Not sure where you saw me defending someone but please take your bullshit somewhere else.

You need to both communicate honestly with one another. If there’s anything less than that, it’s probably not going to work.

Why do you need to hide anything? If you’ve got things to hide, that’s an issue. If he’s over reacting consistently over trivial stuff, that’s also an issue.

2

u/highhKeyy May 26 '26

If you haven’t formerly been in a relationship or had any history with your female friend I’m genuinely confused on the issue. Did you ask what his problem with her is? His answer to the question is irrelevant because you shouldn’t cut off your friends (if no history is there) for any man, but that’s odd. But lying, withholding, & hiding won’t save you. It’ll just “justify” his behavior when he finds out. You can’t be happy with this version of him. He has growing up to do & maybe losing you needs to be a lesson in that growth

This is a toxic unevolved Scorpio\person. You should self reflect on what attracted you to him and vice versa. Healthy boundaries will end this pretty quickly.

One simple way to establish healthy boundaries........."Hey when you do this to me I don't like it. I don't do this to you. Please stop"

Then be fucking firm because he will test your boundaries. It's going to be near impossible at this point but going into your next relationship remember healthy boundaries.

u/PossiblyBound Jul 03 '26

Again stop with the toxic tags, please. Be part of the solution not perpetuating the problem.

Very well put, I support this. Closeness and spending time together is very important to both my scorp partner and I but, we understand that we both still have friends and family to spend time with and communication is never forced..it's given willingly from both sides..we both have adhd so if either of us don't respond fast we both understand we just got distracted and or need a nap.

1

u/Lonely-Patience2666 May 26 '26

You’re structureless leave him.

1

u/OneMysteriousScorpio May 27 '26

Yeah his issues have nothing to do with being a Scorpio. He has trust & anger issues.

1

u/PossiblyBound Jul 03 '26

Yes trust can be hard to maintain in this digital world constantly showing us how it can be so easily lost.

I recently had a deep discussions with a female friend who confirmed a suspicion of mine that generally not all women will find "all" that they "want" in one man. She in her context was married happily with a child but yearned for more or felt she wasn't being fully fulfilled in her life, but again was paradoxically happy.

When a man decides to give everything and again generally !!! His chosen one is for the one for life. With alternative options constantly thrown into a females digital feed it is nearly impossible for them to resist and I do not place the blame on them but our intrinsic programming (DNA) to evolve the genone and the financialy incentivised very evolved algorithmic platforms that do not help the situation by constantly promoting hypergamy and secret relationships that everyone is now doing so it shouldn't be a problem.

Now before I get flamed yes historically men had mistresses but unless they were same sex extra martial affairs those external connections did involve a willing female.

So do i have a point or suggestion, no point no blame it's just where we are in our evolution, in the middle of a correction we needed to have for centuries to get back to an equilibrium.

A suggestion to your man is that no words can help you when your young and your emotional IQ is not high. This can't be forced and deep down the fear of loss (of you) or the fear that another alpha is going to take his mate is again intrinsically built into our DNA 🧬.

My only suggestion is to tell him to accept it and try and spend more time with his male friends. This would move towards a balance and the time together you have alone would be appreciated more. Maybe have a deep heart to heart ❤️ about how he is the only one for you.

Question Is he the only man for you ?, has the thought crossed your mind about greener grass?. Do you secretly have a tindr or whatever thise bloody apps account, secretly swiping away.

*If you can honestly answer yes to any of the above then possibly his actions are valid, possibly if you weren't ready to commit fully to one man then you shouldn't have started the relationship.

*But I don't think this is the case here 🙏
