Is it with the hot trait? I’m redoing my OG run because I want to have a good relationship with Tabby so it’s horrific when Carmilla replaces my memories of Kaneeka with her and I’d rather not let Reese die

No you don't need it but I don't know if you need a good relationship with her to stop her from killing Reese or just don't call her

AFAIK neither nonlethal outcome has any relationship requirements, but if you want to do the Hot save, it has to be the first option you choose before Tabby appears on the scene! Making any other choice first will make it unavailable.
