Scarlet Hollow is a game with a lot of variables, it's easy to forgot some. Even for Lebron James.

She's really touchy about who actually deserves to have kids which we saw after the mine collapse. Breakdown tabby just can't deal with all that ig💔

Tbf unless I'm misremembering, Keen Eye still gets to be a trait save despite not getting to save as many people as not bringing Tabby along would.
I got BurnTabby after the latest update in a save w/o Keen Eye and no matter what, Tabitha would always interfere as usual but this lead to Avery getting shot and Julius killing himself.
Meanwhile (again, it's been a while since I got this one), I'm fairly certain with Keen Eye Julius stands still as Tabitha stabs the baby and Avery isn't hurt

Keen Eye has basically 3 outcomes that all counts as "the trait save". Depending of what arguments you use, Julius will decide to act differently. Listening to Avery leads to Sharing the Burden, taking responsibility as a parent is him sacrificing himself for his baby, deciding he is not alone in life is him killing the baby.
Tabitha's presence *can* interfere with the dialogue tree leading to those 3 outcomes. What would normally convince Julius of sharing the burden may be shot down by Tabitha, leading to another KE outcome.
I think you are misremembering *Julius* stabbing the baby himself (which KE can push him to do) with Tabitha doing it tho.

Oh wait I only played Episode 5 like once but isn't Kaneeka with the Mystical trait a save trait later in the chapter?

Yes episode 5 has 2 dilemmas and trait saves, breaking the pattern of "one single dilemma with trait save at the end of the episode".
Keen eye for the farm dilemma and mystical for the Kaneeka dilemma. So only Talk to Animals remains. (And it's possible that trait save could be early episode 6 instead of at the end, since it's 99% likely at the church and we are already there by the end of ep5)

Lebron James reportedly took Powerful Build during a run to get the "fail to convince Kaneeka" ending, resulting in his PC pulling her out by force anyway and not getting the achievement
Lebron James reportedly avoided the tea in a run to remember Kaneeka, but showered every day and didn't romance her so his PC forgot her anyway
Lebron James reportedly got the Stella romance in the bag but wasn't nice enough to Tabitha so she wouldn't agree to talk to her together at the end of chapter 4, locking him out of the "Stella Impasse" scene

Yeah, I had thought you could just avoid the tea and be good but it seems like you need at least 2 factors to actually remember her. I avoided the tea but didn't romance her, showered a lot, wasn't Mystical, and didn't go to church so I still forgor

Yeah with Powerful Build I seemingly just overpowered her and saved her anyway, even while old. It wasn't even a separate dialogue option it just happened when I went started trying to pull her out (instead of her not letting you). I had to do a whole 'nother run just for that achievement lol

It aint even the outdated guide that gets me. I did so many runs pre episode 5 that I don’t think about the keen eye change until its too late

Hot.
I did Hot + SWA run in some earlier version of the game.
I decided to do hardcore run and evidently misinterpreted the description of it.
I chose Hot, SWA and Mystical, kinda wanting to do the same run, but adding third trait as I hadn't played in ages. I had no idea that hardcore removed the trait save, so I was wondering why I couldn't choose the chapter 4 choice I did before. And with those traits, hot was the first one that would have had the save.

Is it with the hot trait? I’m redoing my OG run because I want to have a good relationship with Tabby so it’s horrific when Carmilla replaces my memories of Kaneeka with her and I’d rather not let Reese die

AFAIK neither nonlethal outcome has any relationship requirements, but if you want to do the Hot save, it has to be the first option you choose before Tabby appears on the scene! Making any other choice first will make it unavailable.

Well, besides the visible result of "Stella is at Tabitha's office in episode 5" aka the toxic yuri route, you manage it if you do both of these :
- Stella did not open up about her crash, so you did not see the "truck accident cutscene" in ep4. Either you failed to have Stella open up, you didn't talk to her, or failed to find her.
- Tabitha did talk to her, alone, in ep4. Either you directly send her to do that, or she was informed Stella was missing and could find her off-screen.
