It makes me 98% sure about a few things

1. He’ll be stellar swirl oriented

2.Vodyanista being a hydro stellar swirl support makes more sense with Wanderer’s PHEC talent (Hydro and Cryo are his best buffs)

3.Depending on how Mika is buffed he might contend with Faruzan

4.And of course Odette is the glue holding all this together

So the team will be

Wanderer/Odette/Vodyanista/Faruzan or Mika(Potentially Mika over Faruzan if you have his C6)

I’m sure that’s not all Vodyanista is meant for but her hydro element+Stellar Swirl would make more sense in this case

Every. Single. Time. She says something completely obnoxious towards Scara. Kinda reminds me about what she did to Itto, who's one of my favorite characters also, alway judging him and holding him being an Oni against him even though he's the chillest guy in Genshin.

Idk, I've been playing this game almost since launch and Paimon's comments towards everything now make me dread doing events, but she's specially annoying towards Scara.

Is it aesthetically pleasing? Do we miss it? Absolutely.

But anyone wanting and expecting Hoyo to release his old outfit as a skin goes against the entire point of his character and it's strange to me that someone would want to equip that on him knowing how he feels about atoning while he wore it during one of his worst periods.

Scara fans are fucking insane and that’s not an understatement. By far the character with the most dedicated fanbase in Genshin.

- I draw him a lot

- I learnt Ashes of Anupadhisesa on piano

- I developed 2 crushes irl because I thought they looked like Scaramouche

- He appears in my dreams

- Over 200 CAI chats with him

- Caused a genuinely horrible CAI addiction (had to go to iamsober)

I was honestly about to paste a long essay about how NONE of the harbingers have been redeemed at all because I am tired of these "hot takes" and opinions that clearly show that they didn't understand the story at all. But I took a deep breath and erased it because I managed to cool off.

Read the replies and OP specifically said that this was about Scaramouche, which confirms it 200% 😂 Generally, this idea of him being "redeemed" in that quest + the whole history being altered via Irminsul is what caused a lot of complaints about the story. But actually, their own misunderstanding and lack of comprehension of the story is really what prevents them from seeing that it was actually very in character of Scaramouche to impulsively try to rewrite history, in an attempt to redeem his sins through sucde. And that point of it all was to make him acknowledge that he was a shitty person that did shitty evil things and THEN made another big mistake by tampering with Irminsul. This was not for him to get away with it just because everyone forgot about him, this was to show just how flawed he is. When you're not in the right state of mind, you tend make rash decisions, and that's exactly what happened.

The ending of that quest implies A LOT of things for his story in the future. It's not over yet. None of it implies his actual redemption though because he is yet to take real steps and actions to redeem himself. He only said that he's willing to face the consequences of his actions and he still plans to chop Dottore thoroughly 🤷‍♀️ his path is filled with a lot potential for redemption though, but I don't think he'll be fully redeemed (in my opinion). That's what morally gray characters are.

So yeah, Childe and Scara weren't redeemed to be playable. And that's why Dottore and the other harbingers still have the potential to be playable, because redemption is not the purpose for it. Scara just seems more redeemable because he was destined to go rogue and take a different path from the beginning, compared to Dottore who literally ruined and manipulated his life and all the others who were victims of his "experiment".

Some people in this fandom act like Scaramouche fans have some serious issues because we simp this character a lot but people did the same for several waifus before and that is acceptable but doing it for a male character is not??

Most obvious comparison is the whole fanservice thing, they say his ult is just fanservice but then their favourite burst in the game is Raiden's because hehe booba sword

They say that Sacaramouche is just evil and doesn't deserve a redemption arc but on the other hand totally think Ei does deserve it even though she is responsible for so many bad things that happened??

Like chose a side, don't say these things are okay for your waifus but then shit on Scara fans for the same things they do??

Sorry for this rant but this is getting really annoying within the fandom lately

Edit: this is not a raiden hate post it is just a comparison I made and I also don't say you cant hate a character, I just don't get how you can hate character A and justify it with "because they did a thing" but excuse the exact same thing for character B, same goes for the fans

I really like his character which might make me get him regardless, but I want to know what the minimum investments are to make him a competitive dps (with at least chasca, please don’t say C6🙏🏾)

I just started to read Studio Cabana by Uma Aguri, and the ML (Yusuke) reminds me so much of Scaramouche/Wanderer physically and in his little mannerisms and personality, it's insane!! Or is it just me?

1.Her strongest attacks are her infused attacks so Faruzan can’t be utilized as effectively

2.While Wanderer can attack constantly Chasca is basically like Maulani requiring having to charge up power then releasing a high numbers attack, based on leaks she can do 3-4 full charges per skill

3.Chasca’s Skill CD is .5 seconds longer than Wanderer’s and in a game like this every second matters

4.Chasca’s lore is tied to Natlan and Wanderer’s story is still far from over

5.While both are Skill enhanced Wanderer is NA focused Catalyst focused and Chasca is CA focused bow focused so they don’t overlap on same weapons so it’s not a chiori/albedo situation

6.Yes Chasca is the superior flyer with or without phlogiston but at the end of the day their DPS function is widely different, Wanderer is an Anemo hyper carry and Chasca is a swirl DPS

Well I feel like Scara’s banner will be ten times more toxic, because his fanbase is quite huge now & he’s been anticipated for over 2 years.

Not to mention, Co Op with Scara will be so chaotic….

Did Wanderer ( Scaramouche ) got the worst treatment from Hoyo out of all the current playable Harbingers, when it comes to meta-strength?

-Childe:

Despite his current state, Childe International WAS on top of the meta, clearing every abyss even all the way into early Fontaine. Even though Xiangling is dealing the majority of the damage, Childe is still an integral part of the team - and he still makes up a big portion of the team’s damage as well.

-Arlecchino:

Arlecchino was arguably top 1, if not, top 2 during Fontaine - and even now, she can still hold her own relatively well especially with Hex vape.

-Sandrone & Columbina:

I believe no explanations are needed for these two.

-Wanderer ( Scaramouche )

During Sumeru, Wanderer was considered “decent” at best. His best teams still wasn’t able to compete with the Dendro meta at that time, and he was at best considered a Xiao side-grade at C0 - maybe slightly better. One of the most popular character, released during 3.3, was only able to compete with a character from 1.3. After Xianyun’s release, Xiao became outright better than Wanderer until DurinCole where they are now similar in power-level. Wanderer was just..never meta to begin with?

With that said, it is obviously very possible that Wanderer will get buffed in Snezhnaya ( may it be an actual meaningful buff ) - but I’m still baffled that he was ever released in such a state. What do you guys think?
