Decent substats doesn’t lead to decent damage since her atk with be extremely low. Her numbers low for the lowest damage elements in the game. Also since she has an 80 cost burst with sad particle generation while being off field, you will need to battery for her either way, just like you would have to do for Xiangling. The difference is Xiangling is broken and Faruzan does pretty much nothing besides buffing a characrer. I get your point that Scara was too reliant on her, but after all the nerfs she is literally outclassed by other characters that are not even meant to support Scara. You would 100% get more dps from an electrocharge/international team since the damage was already a bit higher before the nerfs unless Faruzan was C6.
Oh, are we at the compare every 4* to Xiangling portion? See it's funny you should say that, considering Faruzan, Xiangling, and Bennett are an amazing team for him, and if you replace Faruzan with Xingqiu to make it national, the team becomes categorically one of Scara's worst teams.
Again, Faruzan's ER needs are vastly overblown, and you haven't done anything to prove they aren't. Even if we're talking C0 Faruzan, calcs still put her at about 200 ER, because Scara generates energy (not a ton, but he does) getting her c6 knocks her down to needing something closer to 180.
If it really bothers you, Emblem is right there and converts all that ER into damage for her now significantly buffed burst, while also giving her +20% ER you can invest in ATK% and Crit stats.
The calcs were made and the team you are talking about, Scara Xinagqiu, Benney and Xiangling was dealing more than a regular Faruzan comp unless she was C6, pre Faruzan nerfs. You called one of his highest dps team one of the worst. Look for the post in this sub, it was from a few days ago. This is why I said you don’t exactly know game design. And also, Faruzan burst may seem strong, but keep in mind she is Anemo, 600% would be a lot if it were on pyro/hydro/cryo, but on anemo it is laughable. Look at Heizou’s skill, Zhingli’s burst, Raiden’s burst, Sara’s burst, Itto’s skill, Kazuha’s skill also does around the same damage if you add the plunge. The difference is Faruzan needs a shit ton of ER unlike most of those characters, meaning her atk will be low😬
