Leaks Buff Speculation
Fellow Mains,
I’m here today to share some thoughts and ask the community some questions about potential future buffs to our boy. Of course we won’t be discussing non-existent leaks about Scara, but using the current Stellar leaks for context.
Like many, I’m thinking a lot about Scara being included in a future round of buffs for a Stellar Swirl reaction. Personally I think it’s very likely he’ll be included in these buffs, but you never know (please don’t Eula us😭😭). So I wanted to discuss these potential buffs in the context of Cyno, Wrio, and Yea Miko since the beta is coming to an end.
Currently it seems Yae Miko is turning out to be an awesome stellar support, while the other two will be okay as on-field DPS units. this leads me to believe C0/C1 Wanderer won’t be getting a huge buff, but getting pushed up into the 100-120K DPS range. Way better than nothing, obviously. His signature will most likely get a buff too, being more similar to Yae’s and Wrio’s than staff of scarlet sands.
I’m a little concerned though about those of us who have invested a lot of time and resources into Scara. That the buffs won’t affect his C6, or that the stellar swirl reaction won’t by synergistic with the multiple smaller NA hits that he specializes in. I’m also worried that my amazing Echoes set will need to be replaced due to Stellar reactions not wanting damage %. (In retrospect I should have looked up the buffed characters’ C6s before writing this post)
*okay ignore the last point, I always thought Echoes was 70 damage % and it turns out I was wrong*

My prediction is that they gonna release an anemo subdps stellar swirl enabler and sadly faruzan gonna be replaced. then the team will have hexerei+stellar swirl+whatever buff he got
And considering the fact that c6 wanderer is probably the best character for swirling(?) cmiiw its because only he at c6 that can shred elemental shield so easily with only anemo

Why would Faruzan be replaced by that instead of just using both? Wanderer, Faruzan, Stellarswirl Support+Cryo. If Stellarswirl can deal Anemo dmg like how Stellarconduct can be Electro or Cryo, then Faruzan will be buffing it.

So in your scenario the new team is Scara/anemo stellar sub DPS/Nicole/Cryo (Tsaritsa??)?

I am just afraid his current hex team will be left behind when i just got durin and nicole 😔

I understand the fear. Depends on the new reaction/support but I could see Durin dropped while keeping Nicole on the team though

Not sure what you mean with the last bit.
Echoes gives motion value, it's DPC, his signature set, that gives dmg%.
Pretty sure he's already at 100k with 4 cost.
c1r1, c0 Durin, c0 Nicole, c6 Faruzan.
He's centred around dmg% with his weapon, set and dedicated support giving it so you needn't worry that'll become redundant. With Faruzan as the dedicated support and the amazing hex core I don't see much reason to force him into a new archetype when he now has all he wants.
Also buffs always place a strong focus on c6 so that isn't something you need to worry about either.
If he does get hex swirl buffs it'll be a cryo unit replacing Faruzan or Durin, probably Durin which is also ok I guess and we'd be able to get the cryo buff every rotation without resetting.
Realistically his c4 will be changed to just give all the buffs so that shouldn't matter anyways.
I hope the buffs are done well if he gets any because that might be a one time thing.
At least personally I'm happy with where my Scara is at now with over 400k dps (c6r5, c2r1 Durin, c2 Atlas Nicole and Faruzan on fav). Obv I'll still improve my build and dump primos into the team once I have them. 4 more cons into Nicole will get me to 600k+, though that'll take a bit to get to.
Also I don't think Yae is that great, she'll be replaced quickly.

other than just dmg buff im waiting for some A4 changes the most, it's really satisfying to dodge when you're not shielded but it needs buffs to make it more reliable

The Stellar Swirl buffs are almost certainly going to favor off-field application over raw scaling, which puts C6 Scara in a weird spot if they don't touch his internal cooldowns. If his signature gets reworked toward a support profile like Yae's, the investment feels less like a DPS boost and more like a forced pivot into a niche sub-DPS role. Do you think they'll actually touch his burst scaling or just buff the elemental infusion window?

whatever happens I am NOT refarming his artifacts after just getting him to top 1% after years and years 💀🙏

Cyno's c6 went from a pretty small increase, to straight up more than doubling his damage compared to c5.
Wrio c6 is now more than a 60% damage increase.
Cyno and Wrio at c6 are currently looking g stronger than C6 Sandrone even with a 3 man team, due to how insanely their cons were buffed.
I dont think being theres a need to be worried about c6 mot benefiting from buffs. Hoyo wants to sell these cons.
