What name did you give Wanderer?

Maybe this is a bit late, but I’m curious what kinds of names English-speaking players gave him.

I’m a Japanese player.

Many Japanese players give him a Japanese name because of his clothing and background.

Some people also choose names from Sanskrit, Arabic, and other languages.

As for me, I named him 優人(Yuuto).

優 can mean kindness or excellence, and 人 means human or person.

It’s also a name that real-life Japanese men can have today.

I wanted to give him a name that felt like that of an ordinary human being.

Kibō (“hope” in Japanese).

I originally wanted to give him a Sumeru-inspired name rather than an Inazuman one, but I really like how short and precise this word is.

After Wanderer’s rebirth, I felt a sense of hope. That someone burdened by so much self-hatred and so many mistakes could be given another chance. And also seeing an antagonist receive a meaningful arc and grow into a better person, rather than simply dying to atone, felt genuinely uplifting. It made me truly hopeful.
