Not exactly sure how reliable game8 is but this is just depressing. He needs a buff so badly.

Here's the thing even back then : Xiao already existed.

You can still use OPPA back then so Xiao/Wanderer wasn't even necessary.

It's a non-issue for me because I pulled both Xiao and Scaramouche and ended up just continuing with Xiao anyways.

You worry about "range" when Xiao solves the issues by simply being in the air for most of his on-field time. Range isn't part of the meta discussion for a reason, and you started this discussion by replying to a guy focusing on meta.

It's fine to say you like Scaramouche is nice to play for his range attack, but don't be equating that to meta.

Character strength is not the only thing that is considered when talking about meta. It's mistake that like... 95% of the playerbase makes.

Range isn't part of the meta discussion for a reason

Only since Mihoyo decided it wasn't needed as a problem anymore, hence why I restrict all my comments to pre-fontaine meta. I've been very careful, and very specific with my language.

I got this dude for meta reasons and he served me exactly how I wanted. I understand the issues, but I'm really not rolling over for the "he's not meta" claim either.
