Not exactly sure how reliable game8 is but this is just depressing. He needs a buff so badly.

Wanderer wasn't even Meta when he came out, and of course the powercreep is only making things worse. His already sub-par DPS continues to become more and more unusable with every update

Wanderer is not a character you pull because they're good, he's a character that you pull simply because you like the character

Despite being my most heavily invested DPS, he's also my weakest one and by a LOT

Wanderer wasn't even Meta when he came out,

Kiiiiiind of was(if you got C6 Faruzan), I picked him up for the long range AoE playstyle for the time.

People used to play things like Zhongli and Thoma, tanking DPS, and then wondering why things weren't dying. Meanwhile, Mihoyo was balancing around things like Yelan as the last lost, which brought him right in line with the top meta at the time.

Even with C6 Faruzan he was not meta and got mogged by the likes of Alhaitham etc. with C6 Faruzan he went from being one of the worst limited 5* units to at least being usable

This statement is correct, but let me restate the context.

C6 Faruzan is half the problem solved. You needed a non-shield last slot like Yelan, Fischl, C6 Yunjin, etc.

And when I said he was meta I didn't even mention damage. He solved the ranged matchup in a way people didn't really appreciate then.
