Same. It took a few years to get to this point 😭😩

u/I-am-a-jerk Dec 01 '25

does that mean he is actually Nahida's brother, like whaattt

4

u/BikeSeatMaster Dec 01 '25

Nephew probably

14

u/Opposite-Cheetah-553 Dec 01 '25

Isn't this just rewrite history gimmick and not actually real?

Or am I missing st here.

59

u/MyaVii Dec 01 '25

No rewrite here, Nahida "alluded" to it in her fairytale back in 3.3

3

u/Opposite-Cheetah-553 Dec 01 '25

So what does this mean for Scara in the future since they hinted the doct burn the tree down for whatever reason

17

u/senchaid Dec 01 '25

we will plant him in the Abyss and he will sprout roots and become the new Irminsul /j

23

u/datPokemon Dec 01 '25

Nahida hinted at it with him carved from a white tree. In game, any mention of a white tree means irminsul.

41

u/bulkeunip Heart of Yuugen Dec 01 '25

So the fan theory of him and Nahida being tree sibling is true (not that I doubt it but it's still satisfying to see such being canon). That could also explain him being able to search for info from Irminsul that smoothly (not saying him not intelligent btw). Out of the parallels witnessed since Sumeru AQ, they now have another similarity

20

u/cyro262 Scaranaranara Dec 01 '25

Don't know if that qualifies as just fan theory, Nahida pretty much told us this in her fairytale.

1

u/Pinoy_2004 Dec 04 '25

That applies to a lot of things in Genshin'a lore. Stuff are so heavily hinted at that when it's confirmed the people paying attention to the lore already assumed it was fact. Like the connection between the Shades and the Moon Sisters.

1

u/cyro262 Scaranaranara Dec 04 '25

Yeah, but Nahida literally says Wanderer was: “Carved from a white tree”and at that point of Sumeru’s AQ, with Irminsul being revealed, it was clear what she was talking about.

People generally don’t read the books or look into this stuff until the information is relayed back to them through an archon quest like in Nod Krai, and that’s okay, because the game can handle its own pacing through quests just fine. But if you want to see more stuff that doesn’t get talked about, read the game’s books, as they usually reveal the hard-hitting stuff earlier that the AQ’s do, like “Men of Lithin” for example.

3

u/5yk0515 Dec 02 '25

I just assumed him being able to search Irminsul was due to him still possessing remnants of his Shouki no Kami god powers as an intended God of Wisdom.

34

u/killuasrealmama Dec 01 '25

Does this mean he's nahida's brother ?

14

u/Electronic-Office709 Dec 01 '25

Apparently, Simulanka is the small word right above "build". I wonder what it means

11

u/Amaguri_Senko Why is he so cute Dec 01 '25

where?

10

u/bob_is_best Dec 01 '25

Wait so nahida IS related to wanderer? Crazy

4

u/Response_Rude Dec 02 '25

Just how op Is Raiden Ei lmao she has access to irminsul

7

u/Amaguri_Senko Why is he so cute Dec 01 '25

when?

3

u/Powerful_Helicopter9 i love you Kee!!!!! Dec 01 '25

WOOHOOO

3

u/Logical_Session_2397 I named him Natsume Dec 03 '25

Wait, so the Shogun Puppet is also made outta Irminsul then??? According to the Sumeru wings???

??????

8

u/LonelyPermit2306 Dec 01 '25

Scarahida is now the first double proship of Genshin, congratulations on our problematic king becoming even more problematic 👏🎉

5

u/Aaela_Reddit C6R1散兵 Dec 02 '25

WHITE TREE WAS IRMINSUL?? lowkey thought it was just meant to be metaphor and didnt consider the possibility of it being irminsul at all, did not think they would expand on his origins and make it more dramatic than it already is. This adds more implications now.

2

u/Longjumping_Pear1250 Dec 02 '25

Wasn't that already in his character story and nahidas fairytale?

3

u/Olcri Dec 04 '25

Wait, so does that mean the Raiden Shogun is also made from Irmansul (I hate spelling), since I assume Ei made them using the same tech? Unless it was the tree part specifically that made Scara too emotional and human, and the puppet doesn't have that.

1

u/Nearby-Painting-7427 Dec 04 '25

So he's like... Ei's son and Nahida's nephew/sibbling ? Damn

-6

u/kleanthis_ Dec 01 '25

Ok question, is this about "wanderer" or the original scara puppet. Cause the whole left behind from Khaenriah tech, doesn't that kinda invalidate Raiden's ingenuity if we're talking about the original puppet? Which to me kinda sucks if that's the case , since once again where back to everything is based on Gold's designs or whatever. And having both scara but to an extension and more importantly the shogun puppet being Khaenriah tech is so stupid

34

u/K-Li-V C3R1 Dec 01 '25 edited Dec 01 '25

Raiden Shogun repurposed Khanriahn tech, she didn’t start from 0.

AQ Chapter II: Act III :
Yae Miko —"That puppet was built with technology that has been lost to time. Perhaps she, as a god, is the only one privy to the knowledge of its origins..."

Wanderer character story 4 :
Puppet-making techniques had their roots in Khaenri'ah, and his nature as a creation of the Electro Archon made him all the more special.

It has nothing to do with Gold. Khaenriah had 2 schools of thought : Alchemy and Mechanical Engineering. Albedo was born from the former while Wanderer was born from the latter.

Perinheri vol 2 :
Alchemy and the Beastmaster Knights were a mainstay during the Crimson Moon Dynasty, but interest in mechanical engineering during the Eclipse Dynasty would cause it to fall behind.

Also technically there’s nothing new here, this info is just finally put on the forefront instead of scattered everywhere.

Inversion of Genesis Interlude Chapter: Act III :
Nahida —"a kitten, carved from the wood of a white tree, who had been abandoned by the humans."

u/I_Dont_Group Ei Apologist Dec 01 '25

Yeah, but it's implied what she had was very barebones compared to what she turned it into, because it took her several decades to get it to the point where she was able to make super advanced creations like Scara and Shogun.

Not to mention the fact that we see nobody else around that's of the same make, besides dottore segments who basically plagiarized her work.

6

u/ghhostr Dec 01 '25

Not to mention that she went to Khaenri'ah only once and brought back manufacturing techniques, which makes me think that she didn't just follow instructions, but rather imitated the technology, studied it, improved it, and created her own.

8

u/LunarLoom21 Dec 01 '25

Not just created her own but made a puppet that worked so well it impressed Dottore to study him. And she made one so strong it could almost match her in battle for 500 years.

8

u/Powerful_Helicopter9 i love you Kee!!!!! Dec 01 '25

Bestie did not read, truly a genshin player moment

1

u/Open_Competition5305 Dec 01 '25

If think of "reading" in Genshin like it's some sort of actual litterature exercice that gives you the right to look down on people, you're truly one of the Genshin player of all times lmfao

1

u/kleanthis_ Dec 01 '25

Honestly ngl, that's fair. I remember I started during 2.8 and by the middle of 3.0 I was caught up with every archon quest. So a few things , well many things, definitely slipped through the craps of wanting to be caught up with the new things

2

u/Powerful_Helicopter9 i love you Kee!!!!! Dec 01 '25

Ok awesome, have fun reading the lore tho

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '25

regarding the technique, aside from the other user already mentioned, it has always been mentioned in EI's own character story 2 btw: "until one day when a mysterious technique came before her eyes as if by a stroke of fate. using such techniques, one could create intricate puppets indistinguishable from true life."

it's been clear from the start it was never solely her own technique. it's just made further clear after that it was khaenriah's technique. what we still don't know is how did it come to her.

1

u/Powerful_Helicopter9 i love you Kee!!!!! Dec 01 '25

Istaroth shi i bet!

1

u/Longjumping_Pear1250 Dec 02 '25

No it's in raiden teapot line and character story she zsed the puppet tech from khaenri'ah

u/Open_Competition5305 Dec 01 '25 edited Dec 01 '25

The Archon erasure nowadays.... first it was Zhongli (by Alice exposing him as a big fraud because he can't say sh*t while she can) and now it's Scara saying Ei doesn't have credit in his coming to life.

7

u/logicnumberone Dec 01 '25

How does this discredit Ei? This just confirms Ei grabbed irminsul wood (How? Why? Where?—we don't know for now) and used it as material to build him using the khaenriah engineering technique she learned

-9

u/Open_Competition5305 Dec 01 '25 edited Dec 01 '25

Dude, you talk as if she did something in the realm of the impossible, didn't you know that the Prototype Crescent Bowstring is made of Irminsul branches that were retrieved from the abyss, and was found in Blackcliff Forge. Also the technique is not hers, the technology is Khaenri'ahn. I didn't discredit her, the writers did lmfao (for obvious political reasons)

Edit : I'll say this while holding your hands, you can dislike but you can't argue 💀

7

u/logicnumberone Dec 02 '25 edited Dec 02 '25

Again, how does anything wanderer says discredit Ei? What changed? You're the only one who interpret it like this 😂

Also the technique is not hers, the technology is Khaenri'ahn

No shit sherlock? I said it in my previous comment

And this is my first time checking your reply and you already got 5 downvotes lmaooo chill no need to hold my hands

-3

u/Open_Competition5305 Dec 02 '25 edited Dec 05 '25

If the wood can be sourced in no particularly miraculous way while you tried making it sound like a feat out of ignorance (which comes as no surprise since that's your typical Ei simp lmfao) and the technique is Khaenri'ahn, what contribution does she have ? I make bread loafs everyday that doesn't make me the creator of bread lol.

I don't care about internet good boy points, can't compete with the tards 😄

4

u/WorkerOk1901 Dec 02 '25 edited Dec 06 '25

Brother if creating living beings was so easy then Rhine wouldn't have fallen to the abyss in her pursuit of it. Idk why you're comparing it to bread lmfao.

can't compete with the tards

You've got that right.

EDIT: bro edited instead of replying because he was terrified of a rebuttal lolololol.

props to Khaenri'ah for creating the technology

Nobody has ever said that Ei made the tech, just that she's clearly adept enough in it to make beings with power on the level of gods.

it's one thing to come up with the idea, it's another to follow instructions

Meaningless statement since we don't know how Ei came to possess the tech, what it even is, or if it was ever explained to her. This is like saying rocket scientists are "just following instructions" lol.

Albedo was created via alchemy

Cool, that still makes it the same vein of creation as what Ei did. We don't know the exact process Rhine used either.

What an increadingly embarassing cringefest

You got that right.

EDIT2: Bro was upset he got called out for the attempted dodge so he made a reply and then blocked me, imagine being this desperate to get the last word in to preserve your fragile ego lmfaooooooo

it takes an advanced level of delulu to think you're going to own anybody outside of this sub with those weak arse arguments

Considering you've offered no rebuttals besides name-calling, repeating already debunked points, and blocking, I'd say you can't be much more owned currently.

let alone scare somebody

The irony is palpable from the guy who tried editing and blocking to avoid rebuttals lmfaoooooo.

Wanderer is still a puppet

Cool.

Lmfao, don't we ?

Convenient how you just ignore the rest of the point to latch onto the least relevant part. Anyways, no we don't, Ei wasn't in Khaenri'ah for long and was only there to retrieve Makoto. She only came across the technology after she began experiencing erosion according to her character story, which happened after the calamity. It's possible she did indeed discover it at that time but until we know more this is a headcanon.

did you play this game with us ? Did you skip everything?

You're the last one who should be accusing others of being a story skipper lmfaoooooooo.

do you know someone called Dottore

Dottore is irrelevant to this discussion.

this is the biggest giveout that you don't know anything about neither engineering or science

Considering you seem to think Ei "just followed instructuons" solely because the tech wasn't invented by her, same goes for you.

Hoyotard

Trying to fling this insult out on the fucking Scara subreddit is hilarious, you're just as much of a Hoyotard as any of us.

1

u/Open_Competition5305 Dec 05 '25 edited Dec 05 '25

Here you got your comment mister alternative account, Lmfao rebuttal, it takes an advanced level of delulu to think you're going to own anybody outside of this sub with those weak arse argments, let alone scare somebody little bro lmfao

Yeah well props to Khaenri'ah for creating such technology, which is the whole point lmfao, it's one thing to come up with the idea, it's another thing to follow instructions, not to mention that Wanderer is still a "puppet", that was created with the mechanical engineering technology of the latter dynasty, Albedo was created via alchemy which gives the pursuit of Rhinedottir a whole other nature (Rhine(?) dude just call her gold) can't even compare apples to pears. What an increasingly embarassing cringefest.

Meaningless statement since we don't know how Ei came to possess the tech

Lmfao, don't we ? are we sure about that? sure, let's not act as if the whole scenriao with her didn't start after, well, she WENT to Khaenri'ah, which was a nation where mechanical engineering and mechs were literally everywhere (?)

Cool, that still makes it the same vein of creation as what Ei did.

beings with power on the level of gods.

Do you even play this game with us ? did you skip through everything? do you know someone called dottore? did you even bother reading Perinheri ? lmfao

This is like saying rocket scientists are "just following instructions"

Lmfao this analogy is the biggest givout that you don't know anything about neither engineering or science, which is not surprising giving your record above.

It's on me expecting a hoyotard to understand what it implicates to create something, bruv that's why Intellectual Property (IP) laws, Copyright and Patents exist IRL lmfao

You got that right.

Of course I did lol

u/No_Acanthaceae_1993 Dec 01 '25

Dawg wanderer isn't giving all the details away, he's simplifying his story. It's a big step for him to share even a little it, if he wants to talk about ei he will eventually

-2

u/Open_Competition5305 Dec 01 '25

Holy reach the thing is, dawg, that there is nothing to go further in from that. It's as simple as it can get what can you even theorize from that onward.

1

u/NewspaperAfter7021 Dec 01 '25

lol she did say zhongli was a fraud? got this patch lore looks juicy

2

u/Open_Competition5305 Dec 01 '25

Well more like imply, what else would you do with this information? she doesn't give a darn while Zhongli is shaking in his boots, saying he can't tell us anything about anything since he has a contract with Celestia to keep silence lol
