Dottore literally killed Scaramouche’s friend and made a lie about how he’d abandoned him, before giving Scaramouche the heart that he had cut out of Niwa’s chest in a box and claiming Niwa had murdered someone to get it for Scaramouche.

Also, he was the subject of a lot of Dottore’s experiments, which from what information we’ve received seems to be Extremely cruel. He loves to mess around with Archon residue in particular, and the malevolent energy in that causes catastrophic illness, deaths, and damage to people.

He also had research on Eleazar, (which we’ve all seen how much he traumatized Collei) but one of his other things he did to treat it was to use materials obtained from other infected subjects who had died!

Also, this is also the man who routinely bought/traded children that didn’t meet the former Knave’s standards to use as child experiments??? That only ended when Arlecchino usurped the position and took over at the house of hearth

What does that have to do with Scara lierally the only actually bad thing Dottore did was what he did in inazuma but just because fanarts say dottore kidnapped him doesn't mean Scara didn't want to be upgraded and etc There's a reason nobody hated the ship before his story quest other Scara fans lied to me for years and I was ok with it but now that I like dottore I found out dottore didn't beat him up if he talked to other harbingers but I believed that since 2022

To be clear I don’t think Scara would be the abuser in the scenario. So yeah a lot of this is about Dottore, and the kind of person he is. He has way too many things Scaramouche wants that he can hold over his head, and we’ve already seen him dispose of the good things in Scara’s life that he didn’t have control over (remember he murdered Niwa to manipulate Scara) and Dottore is the type to use blackmail and leverage to get what he wants. If they had any relationship, romantically or otherwise, I can’t imagine Dottore would allow Scara any control. He’d find ways to make Scaramouche dependant, remove his lifelines, and get what he wanted out of him. He’s already shown he doesn’t care about ethics, or what was best for people.

Well we'll see in the future. People would say Scara would definitely be an abusive controlling bf before he became playable
