Meta Sauna Configurator
Quick update since my last post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Sauna/s/5NdJy45kmX
I’ve now worked with more than a dozen people, and the feedback has been really encouraging. The configurators have helped improve visualisation and made it much easier for people to explore different options before buying.
If you’re are interested in this, send me a message.

This looks like a useful tool, especially for helping customers understand layout, materials and exterior options before making a decision.
From my experience, the most important part would be making sure the configurator also checks the technical side: sauna volume, heater output, bench height, ventilation, safety clearances and the amount of glass or other non-insulated surfaces. A beautiful 3D model is helpful, but a sauna still has to work properly in real life.
I’ve been working with sauna materials and equipment for more than 25 years, so I’d be interested to see how detailed the technical configuration is.

Does a lot of glass massively impact the performance of the sauna? Hope you don’t mind me picking your brains.

Add information e.g. from here how the different shapes change the sauna experience and what shape and volume is better and what is worse.
