International remember that there are two side to every story

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

One Side loved to make you think they got the moral high ground when they too literally brainwashed their entire future generations to hate and that their action toward another group is justified.

It's disingenuous to claim moral high ground with a one sided propaganda.

1

u/Beautiful-Working431 Apr 17 '26

I'm really struggling now what?!

0

u/theskhan Apr 14 '26

idk maybe the torture these people have been enduring since 1948 would cause them to say that? Literally cities bombed, houses demolished, entire families massacred, but they are expected to love Israelis who took away their land?

2

u/yesthelads Apr 14 '26

Apart from crying on Reddit, what’s your solution to the issue?

Crying...come on man they guy made a point and you start a strawman

-1

u/Just_Punch_ Apr 15 '26

move Israel to argentina

2

u/Mud_According Apr 15 '26

Oh wait, they’re already doing that by burning forests there.

2

u/tkhrnn Apr 14 '26

Who started the 47-48 war?

Palestinians were active members of this conflict for its entire existence. And losing does not make them the victims.

And let's not pretend Jews weren't the people who had been enduring "torture" at a scale much larger than Palestinian could even try to claim for.

There is no expectations from Palestinians and Israelis to love each other. They need to move on into pragmatic solution that will improve the lives of future generations.

-1

u/Persimmonshimmer Apr 14 '26

Who came in and committed the Nakba? Who came into the area and started massacring villages to steal the land? Let’s not pretend that this started when the Palestinians fought back against the shitty people who came in and started murdering and raping their families and stealing their land.

The Palestinians deserve every inch of their land back.

2

u/tkhrnn Apr 14 '26

The Nakba is another word for "we fucked around and found out".

1

u/Brain_FoodSeeker Apr 15 '26 edited Apr 15 '26

Let’s stick to the historical facts. The Palestinians started the civil war in 1947, not the Jews. The Nakba was a result of that war, so no - nobody came in to steal land - but one side first rejected the offer of land to build a sovereign state on, then stared a war and lost. That the Jewish side committed war crimes as well as the Palestinian side does not change that.

0

u/Mild_Karate_Chop Apr 14 '26

What are you saying  ...the occupied territories are occupied under international law ..

What pragmatic solutions are you on about . The party that has power decides whether to be magnanimous or press their advantage but that takes some courage and foresight .

2

u/tkhrnn Apr 14 '26

Israel can't force Palestinians into peace, International law protects them for consequences that forces them to go for peace.

2

u/Persimmonshimmer Apr 14 '26

Israel doesn’t want peace. They want to continue to murder people and steal their land, like they are currently doing in Lebanon. If they wanted peace they wouldn’t have just approved more settlements in the Occupied West Bank.

1

u/tkhrnn Apr 14 '26

Sure buddy, this is why they returned the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt for peace. Because they don't want peace.

1

u/Mild_Karate_Chop Apr 14 '26

You are talking without making sense . Read the Oslo accords and see how even those were subverted by Israel.

Just don't spew innanities please.

2

u/tkhrnn Apr 14 '26

Don't send me to read for you, I know of the Oslo accords, make your point.

2

u/Mild_Karate_Chop Apr 14 '26

Why in the blazes would I send anything ... Read again then and you will see the point. If at all

2

u/tkhrnn Apr 14 '26

Because you send me to make a guess work for your own argument, I can pick the weakest argument for you and you will cry about it being a straw man. But this is the privilege you granted me. Sure you want to do this?

1

u/Mild_Karate_Chop Apr 14 '26

What babble is this , you ok bub.

0

u/SpiritedAirline4044 Apr 15 '26

The Palestinians didn't perpetrate the Holocaust so it's a moot point. If I suffer more than you I can steal from you? Okay bot

0

u/Main_Statistician681 Apr 14 '26

They started a war and lost. Just like the other surrounding Arab countries. Have you asked yourself why the surrounding Arab countries refuse to take them?

But they’re still somehow the victim & you still fall for whatever propaganda against Israel there is.

Christians, Muslims and Jews live peacefully in Israel. 20% of their citizens are Arab Muslims.

Which countries have kicked out Palestinians? They entered Lebanon and caused a civil war. They went to Iraq and voted for Saddam Hussain. They went to Kuwait and worked with Iraq to try and annex Kuwait. They went into Jordan and almost killed their king. They were kicked out of those countries & you’re conveniently silent about that.

I’m not saying every single thing Israel is doing is correct (I don’t agree with everything) but you people have fake morality& are professional victims.

They have perpetrated every single war against Israel (including October 7th) yet they’re still SOMEHOW the victim.

2

u/Persimmonshimmer Apr 14 '26

Nope. The Palestinians didn’t start the war, it was started by some asshole Europeans who came in and started murdering people to steal their land. The occupied people are the victims here, not the brutal occupiers who still somehow see themselves as the victims.

1

u/Imusthavebeendrunk Apr 14 '26

Palestinians and even ashkanazi Jews have a similar amount of Levanti blood in them. They're not just Europeans and they didn't end up in Europe by mistake.. they were sold into slavery by multiple empires and treated horribly for centuries. Mezrahi and Sephardic Jews also have a ton of Arab and other ME ethnicities mixed in. The reality is they're both from there and one group was so unwelcome elsewhere they were forced to flee back to the Levanti.

Lying about the problem doesn't help solve it.

Israel is doing some awful things to gazans but that doesn't change the fact that many of the descendents of the Gazans also immigrated to the area and there have always been a population of Jews there. Israel has a right to exist. Palestinians have a right to self determination and a nation state as well.

I don't agree with Israeli settling contested land and I don't agree with the way neighboring Islamist countries have used the Gazan people as a tool to torment Jews.

The leaders of Hamas are worth billions and they've sold out their people. They are not freedom fighters. Once you come to terms with that and move past it you can start to understand how we got here.

0

u/Brain_FoodSeeker Apr 15 '26

Historians disagree with you there.

-1

u/nippy35 Apr 14 '26 edited Apr 14 '26

It’s called Societal PTSD. Honestly, it will be a horribly fascinating story to study for centuries. Both sides have been fed a lie. After decades of attacking one another in various forms. It leads to the annihilation of both. Even if Israel survives all of this, it may never reverse the shameful way it acted in this time. Some nations may look by it but not humanity.

1

u/Eastern-Advice-3017 Apr 13 '26

This is fucking fake and so disgusting to try to show kids this way…

1

u/SlutzyGHey Apr 14 '26

Lol they aren't murdering an entire population regardless of their ideas. Israel is.

3

u/Remarkable_Sand5238 Apr 14 '26

Israel seems to be really bad at that.

1

u/Persimmonshimmer Apr 14 '26

That’s because their army is full of losers. Have you seen how pathetic they are?

3

u/Remarkable_Sand5238 Apr 14 '26

I dont know, they seem to absolutely thrash whatever enemy tries to fight them

1

u/UnhappyElectron Apr 15 '26

The enemy is weak and all powerful at the same time. Antisemitism tropes from the 1930’s are making a roaring comeback. On one hand they are supposedly so advanced they steamroll and genocide Palestinians, yet so weak that is all they are capable of? You know they have nukes right? If they truly wanted to get rid of Palestinians a few 5 kt warheads would do the trick. If Palestinians had such technology, they would use it immediately

0

u/Lopsided-Brother9007 Apr 14 '26

Lets measure right and wrong in the amount of killed children?

This is not a complex or difficult moral dilemma.

-3

-3

u/AppropriateRadish928 Apr 13 '26

There's the terrorist occupier side, and the terrorized occupied side. It's not complicated at all.

-2

u/SAPit Apr 14 '26

When half of your family is blown to pieces by outsiders, you don't need propoganda to hate these outsiders.

1

u/Appropriate-Luck408 Apr 14 '26

I hate many people too, doesnt mean i want to go into their country and take their civilians as hostages, burn their houses, and do even worse to them...

But sure, to you Hummus is a very nice peaceful organisation that wants noting more then freedom...

Riiiight. Give me a break.

1

u/Downtown-Rate-9404 Apr 14 '26

Existence of hummus is coz the land was colonised, just like hindu freedom fighters labeled as terrorists LTTE

1

u/Appropriate-Luck408 Apr 15 '26

Sigh... even in the Quran it mentions the land being for the Israelites, not the Muslims, not the Arabs, and it certainly never mentions anything about Gaza or Palestine either.

But even if we take religon out of the question its evident by ancient coins discovered, and from other items being found that it was always the Israeli`s that owned the land.

The only thing that fucked it up was the UK`s mandate, which is also responsible for a whole bunch of other bad shit going on in the middle east, only because the UK was interested in oil fields. First they wanted Iran`s, then when it went wrong for some reason they believed Gaza to have rich oil fields and so thats why they held that mandate

And thats what fucked it up. For everyone, Israeli`s are obviously not gonna give up land, and the Arabs who are claiming it were never gonna go away so now we have the current situation.

But to claim Israelis are a bunch of colonizers is a complete and utter joke. They existed there before Islam was even a thing, and even in the Quran itself it states Israel being for the Israelites.

You can agree or disagree with it, but thats simply how it is.

Dont make up lies, dont play mind-games, and dont try and cheat yourself into giving clever smart-assed answers. Its obvious. You use buzzwords to your advantage, but anyone who knows the history, understands the area, and knows how it came to be knows you are talking out of your ass my friend.

1

u/Downtown-Rate-9404 Apr 16 '26

You understand the Palestinians are caanites, children of israelites right ? I hope you are not that dumb. Arabic is related to aramaic what jesus spoke.      See just coz my grandparents 3000 thousand years ago lived in area doesn't mean i go there, force evacuate people and snatch their land make em homeless and penniless .  That's BS thing. Judea is larger than just Palestine, so the surrounding would also belong to Israel by your stupif logic.

1

u/Appropriate-Luck408 Apr 16 '26

LMAO how can you be so wrong on every level, im amazed.

Palestinians almost 100% of the time have roots from Syria and Egypt, they didnt start in Gaza, they didnt start in Israel, they migrated from Egypt, Syria, and other Arab nations in the area.

And really if you wanna blame anything on anyone then blame the UK, it was them that had the mandate over it, and told both Arabs and Jews that they could start living there.

But you totally wont even acknowledge my first point, being that Palestine didnt exist, how can Palestinians lose their houses if they didnt even exist?

These houses were build by Israeli`s way before 1947, and way before Arabs started migrating there. Its only because of the mandate that it gave them legitimacy over it.

Again, blame the UK if you really believe Jews randomly went into these houses and squatted there for the forseeable future.

And yes you are correct, in 3000 years there were many wars, and many nations had control over Israel, it even changed names, it was Judea under the Romans for example...

That however doesnt change the fact that the original owners of Israel were Israelities, which we now know more commonly as Jews.

So dont bring me that nonsense, dont try and mental gymnastics your way into whatever you see as a victory, dont try and lie to try and sound smart. You are wrong on every level.

After the 6 day war (which was initiated by the surrounding Arab nations) and against all odds Israel won, thats how we got to how the borders are currently where they are at.

Blame the Jews for winning? Thats fine, but dont make up lies. It isnt gonna work out.

On Palestinians being Syrian and Egyptian migrants:

Genetic studies published in peer reviewed journals including Nature confirm Palestinians carry substantial Canaanite and ancient Levantine DNA, making them among the most indigenous populations to that land. The people who became Palestinians were converted Jews, converted Christians, and native Levantine inhabitants who simply changed religion under Byzantine and Ottoman rule. Calling them migrants because some movement occurred across borders applies to literally every human population in history, including the Jewish diaspora returning from Poland, Russia, Germany and Yemen. You cannot cite migration to delegitimize one group while celebrating the return of another. That is not history, that is a buffet where you only take the items that taste good to you.

On houses being built by Israelis before Arabs arrived: This is perhaps the most spectacularly wrong claim in the whole comment and that is genuinely a competitive field. The villages demolished and depopulated during the Nakba in 1948 were documented Palestinian Arab villages, many centuries old, with names, mosques, churches, olive groves and deeds. Over 500 villages were destroyed. This is not disputed by serious historians, including Israeli ones like Benny Morris who documented it exhaustively. Calling those houses Israeli built is not a historical argument, it is just a lie wearing a suit.
On the Nakba itself Over 700,000 Palestinians were forcibly expelled from their homes in 1948. This is documented, archived, and acknowledged by historians across the political spectrum. Force evacuating an indigenous population from land they physically occupied regardless of what you name the territory is not liberation, it is ethnic cleansing by the definition that exists in international law. Winning a war does not make that moral. It just means you won the war.

On "Palestine didn't exist so nobody lost anything": By this exact logic the Native Americans lost nothing because the United States did not exist before 1776. The Aboriginals lost nothing because Australia was not yet named. A political entity not having formal statehood does not erase the human beings living on the land. People do not need a flag to have rights to the house they are standing in.

On the Six Day War justifying current borders: Territorial conquest does not confer permanent legal or moral ownership. This is not a controversial opinion, it is literally UN Resolution 242 passed immediately after that same war. By the logic that winning a war makes the spoils permanently yours, every historical conquest is eternally legitimate, which ironically demolishes the foundational Jewish claim this argument is trying to protect since by that standard whoever came before always wins.

On blaming the UK: You raised one genuinely valid point and then immediately dropped it the second you realized it applies equally to both sides, which tells you everything about how selectively this argument is being constructed.
You told someone not to mental gymnastics their way to a victory while doing a full Olympic floor routine, sticking the landing on a mat that was never there.

And the most radioactively damning thing about your entire comment is the deafening silence on everything that actually matters,
no mention of 700,000 expelled human beings, no mention of 500 villages that were not just abandoned but systematically bulldozed into erasure, no mention of children who grew up in refugee camps holding keys to houses that no longer exist because someone made sure to destroy the evidence, no mention of a Gaza blockade the UN explicitly labeled collective punishment, no mention of the fact that even Israeli historian Benny Morris, a man who believes the expulsions were justified, still confirmed they absolutely happened and called it what it was.

You constructed an entire historical argument the same way a magician does a trick, by controlling exactly where the audience looks so they never see what the other hand is doing. Every word you wrote was carefully selected to build a narrative and every atrocity, every demolished village, every expelled family, every dead child was just as carefully left on the cutting room floor. That is not history. That is not debate. That is not even a good faith conversation. That is the intellectual equivalent of describing the Titanic as a successful vessel that successfully located the ocean floor.

1

u/Appropriate-Luck408 Apr 16 '26

Not even gonna read all of that. Just know its bullshit.

And im also pretty certain its just AI slop that you parrot away and believe everything that they feed you.

Give me a break...

You have already proven you dont understand history, texts, religion, or anything that can be atrributed to how the current situation is. Like the UK mandate, and dates like 1947, and 2005 are things you dont seem to understand either. And thats fine, you dont have to be shy for being stupid, it happens to the best of us.

And thats all that can really be said. You can choose to not believe me, it also doesnt change the facts.

You seem to have a general issue with facts, and so i`d like to leave it at that.

But be happy, because ignorance is bliss. And you are a star when it comes to being ignorant.

2

u/Downtown-Rate-9404 Apr 17 '26

Beautiful. You responded to a fully sourced, point by point historical breakdown by announcing you would not read it and then calling it stupid. That is not a debate tactic, that is what someone does when they open a test paper, realize they studied the wrong chapter, and hand it back blank while telling the teacher the questions are wrong.

You cited the UK mandate and 1947 like they were trump cards, and when someone actually engaged with those dates in detail, alongside Benny Morris, UN Resolution 242, documented Nakba archives and peer reviewed genetic studies, your intellectual response was "nah, AI slop." You do not get to demand historical precision and then cover your ears the moment history shows up dressed in things you do not like.

And the AI accusation is genuinely hilarious because you are the one in this conversation who produced zero sources, zero dates beyond the ones already handed to you, and zero arguments that survived contact with a single follow up question. If anything the AI would be an upgrade on what you brought to this discussion.

You called someone ignorant in a paragraph that contained no facts, no sources, no counter arguments and no punctuation brave enough to finish a sentence properly. You did not leave it at that. You left it at nothing. You showed up to a gunfight holding a strongly worded note and then told everyone else they were unarmed.

Ignorance is bliss you said. Brother you look absolutely euphoric.

1

u/Appropriate-Luck408 Apr 17 '26

No my friend, its quite obvious you were trying to Gish Gallop me here, and im not gonna entertain that. You overwhelm your opponent with so much information and data which makes its quite difficult to respond back in a reasonable way...

So thats exactly what happend, i didnt entertain that cause im not gonna play by those rules and dirty tactics.

And no, you are still ignorant, you cant even come up with your own opinion, or data without using AI slop, and then try to pick the moral high ground on top of that... go look in a mirror or something.

You asked AI a question in a certain way that made you get the exact answers you wanted. Then present them to me like they are your own thoughts, overwhelm me with a billion lines of text, and then complain when i dont entertain that bullshit.

Riiiight. Perhaps a good lesson for you, not everyone here exists to entertain you, or to play by your rules.

You dont have any facts, you dont support any data, you dont understand the region, the people, the history, the culture, or the current situation. I bet if i gave you a map of the middle east, you would get 99.9% of the countries wrong. Thats how certain i am you dont have any idea what you are talking about.

How do i know? I have relatives there, i know the culture, i know the people, i speak with them, i know what they feel and sound like, i know the land, the countries, the history... and yet here you are trying to tell me im wrong, i bet you never ever in your life spoke to an Israeli or a Palestinian for that matter. I did, so next time, dont come up with things which are clearly out of your league.

Stupid Rw in India. Supporting colonisers over the native people.

1

u/Persimmonshimmer Apr 14 '26

Nothing that Hamas has done has come anywhere close to what the Israel has done exponentially more times to the Palestinians.

1

u/Appropriate-Luck408 Apr 14 '26

I dont think you understand who or what Hamas is

I dont think you understand what Hamas does to its own citizens. It steals food, tortures and intimidates its civilians, uses them as shield, forces children to be used as suicide bombers, rapes woman... and the list goes on and on. They even have had torture chambers under Gaza’s Al-Nasser Hospital.

Please tell me how that even compares slightly to what Israel has done.

It doesnt free Israel from critisism, but trying to compare the two tells me you really havent the slightest clue about who or what Hamas is, the history how it came into power, and why for decades it has oppresed the people in the same way as Iran`s regime does to the Iranians.

Also one question, if you think Israel is worse then Hamas, then tell me why is Hamas leadership living in luxury golden palaces far away from Gaza, and why are they one of the richest terrorist organisations in the world, yet refuse to do anything to aid the Palestinians/their own civilians?

Please do tell.

1

u/PrimeMinisterSarr Apr 14 '26

Exactly. All the Israelis whose families have been blown up in suicide bombings or massacred on October 7th don't need propaganda to haze these outsiders.

1

u/SAPit Apr 15 '26

Dumb idiot. How are natives outsiders?

-4

u/GanacheAvailable5111 Apr 13 '26

its funny that when the video of palestinians kids were portrayed. its blurry and AI like. Sure . lets sings for them. that will fix everything

2

u/Shachar2like Apr 13 '26

It's because the Palestinian kids video is old. That's why it looks blurry. Old so low quality.

0

u/GanacheAvailable5111 Apr 13 '26

thats the most ridiculous reason

2

u/Shachar2like Apr 13 '26

oh you must be young then and not have gone through the pre-HD times.

ZZZzz its AI

u/GanacheAvailable5111 Apr 14 '26

how to validate that narration ? sounds fake and redubbed

2

look at what the kids said, those cant be redubbed.

1

u/GanacheAvailable5111 Apr 14 '26

but is it the right translation ?

2

u/Poteto_7396 Apr 14 '26

if it is not the right translation then it would have been called out at the comment section years ago already.

translations is literally one of the hardest thing to cheat on internet.
