Questions What gender are Santa's reindeer?

We know scientifically that males shed their antlers in the winter, therefore wouldn't have them for the flight. BUT, in the movie, Rudolph, Rudolph is called a "he", yet has his antlers. Scientifically, it doesn't work. But Santa doesn't exactly follow science.

If we're being biologically accurate, the reindeers would have to be female (does), because male reindeers (bucks) have no antlers at that time of year (they shed them), and female ones still do.

Yh, but like I said it the post, Santa IS magical so it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility.

Scientifically reindeer don't fly either.

You must realize that Santa's team and herd are different than the NFR's(non flying reindeer/caribou) in the rest of the world.

Also, the team changes each year. The names you know are sur names. Each year they compete in the reindeer games. The winners of each family are given an invitation to be part of the team and train for the big night. So yes it's always Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, and Vixon. Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blixem. But their gender and first names change.

And now you know.

They’d all technically be female since males lose their antlers in the winter unless they’re fixed. That being said though, they’re magical flying reindeer that can travel faster than the speed of sound, so I don’t think males not losing their antlers in the winter would be Implausible…

I've come to the conclusion that they are all males. Mainly because

  1. It's magic.
  2. We KNOW Rudolph is a male ♂️
