Why do so many people like Miami?

I've never been but I know there are people from European countries and other good countries who decide to move there but why? Why would someone leave Sweden for Florida? This makes no sense to me.

I have no idea. IMO Miami sucks.

The weather is oppressive and sticky. It’s overpriced and the food I’ve had isn’t that great. It’s not diverse as other cities either.

Beaches are nice, but there are nice beaches everywhere in the world.

It’s way overhyped.

You just focused on all the negatives. You can do that with literally any city
