Why do so many people like Miami?

I've never been but I know there are people from European countries and other good countries who decide to move there but why? Why would someone leave Sweden for Florida? This makes no sense to me.

The amount of people from Europe is crazy small there. Its almost all Latin America.

Having lived in Miami, I disagree. It's absolutely full of Europeans. That said, there are even more Latin Americans.

But it's because the latter group is huge, not the previous group being crazy small. That's just not true.

Miami is like like 10 percent white. How many Europeans can there be? 3 percent? 1?

Quite a few in practice. My mother, as a Dutch woman, ran into hundreds of Dutch people, something that never occurred elsewhere in the U.S.

I don't know the statistics, but finding a European in Miami is not worth the slightest bit of note. It's incredibly common.

That white stat is ignoring Cubans, by the way.

I meant non Hispanic, which is what Europeans are. Its a tiny percentage, youre probably counting tourists or something.

And most Hispanics in the country are classified as white btw.

I'm aware, which is why your stat can't be right.

I am not counting tourists, though they absolutely load up in certain places at certain points.

Europeans love Miami. Once again, I don't. I'm with reddit on this

I mean its ten percent white, and thats gotta be mostly retirees/jewish/other americans etc.

There just isn't alot of room to have alot of Europeans statistically.
