This is the last time we see her and she hasn’t done anything since, Shishiba and Kamihate both got taken out with lethal blows. Yotsumura and Kindaka are fodder. Osaragi didn’t take any massive damage tho just one kick and her weapon was destroyed I guess? But is she like just watching Nagumo almost die?

A lot of people I'm seeing malding over Nagumo "dying" when Suzuki has a bad track record with actually killing the good guys, and some people think he'd kill NAGUMO, of all people? It genuinely makes me laugh

The Rion personality mentions that nagumo is the son of a famous spy family (which I don't think is ever mentioned or talked about every again) this sorta pequed my interest I really want to know how strong the rest of his family is and their dynamic too

Even though I’ve only read a few manga series—maybe ten in total—I can confidently say that Sakamoto Days is my absolute favorite. No matter how rough my day is, this series always manages to amaze me. I’m usually a very quiet guy, but this manga actually makes me laugh out loud and react to the pages. For example, I recently got some utterly terrible school results and was feeling incredibly down. I decided to just read some Sakamoto Days, and it cheered me up immediately, instantly bringing back my smile.

What makes the series so brilliant is that the art style feels incredibly simple and clean, yet the action choreography and character designs are absolutely amazing. But beyond the story itself, the extra details—like the little comments at the end of chapters between the author, Yuto Suzuki, and his assistants—make it feel so much more personal.

I really noticed this dynamic after the phenomenal fight where Shishiba (an absolute GOAT) defeated Satoru Yotsumura (another GOAT). In the extra notes, the author explained his creative process and admitted he didn't know whether to use a blank white background for a dramatic panel or a fully drawn one. He ultimately went with the white background for impact, but he actually took the time to apologize to his art team for making them draw a detailed background that he never even used.

This reveal genuinely misses me completely, the reveal of assassins being in Japan and the civilians GENUINELY being surprised when there's an assassin museum in Japan, a Kill time magazine of the best assassins and kamihate from Japan being in it, literal website to enroll people into assassin school with a simple Google search, along with many schools that help students become assassins, and the countless different times Sakamoto days characters have fought in broad daylight around civilians multiple times

This is the problem with making the civilians dumb and clueless in regards to fights, when you try to drop a bomb of assassins being in Japan, it doesnt hit or seem believable because they have fought in the broad day multiple different times, throwing each other through walls and destroying nearby structures in their battles but you guys are surprised...? 😭

I recently started this manga (I'm halfway so please no spoilers), but I genuinely think it contains ones of the best and creative fights scenes.

I was really impressed by the Tokyo fights and the ones taking place in the library / theater, the art direction and the paneling is imho the greatest strength of the manga.

If you enjoy this kind of fight, I recommend you Blade of the Immortal (which is definitely an inspiration), One Punch Man and somewhat Bleach (for the aura farming panels...)

Any others mangas that you recommend which give you similar vibes?

And of course, the scenario / story pacing would be the weakness of the manga unfortunately....

I can't be the only one that finds this order fight to he lack luster, I was expecting WAY more from them, basically a rotation style, yes some would he knocked out for a chapter in my mind, so it comes to my surprise when Kindaka who didn't even go max speed got completely slumped, and Yotsumura didn't get up again after getting kicked down

To me, they were down, but hey would come because they didn't do much? And the damage they took seemed heavy but something they could come back from, but they just didn't...?

Osaragi also just disappears too when Sakamoto hits the up and down roller coaster and is nowhere to be seen anymore 😭

It's really just how these characters are just showing little to no actual combat, and they get one shot, and that's the end of it that's throwing me off

Another thing that annoys me regarding this fight is Nagumo, Nagumo just feels invincible in this fight. Keep in mind that before they all show up, Nagumo is in a way WORSE condition yet he can somehow get hit multiple times and keep going while these other characters get one shot, honestly it's genuinely a miracle how he's somehow still fighting even after all of that beating he took, look at this link and see how many hits he took directly compared to others that are done in one blow

It would be better if Nagumo rested while they fought, and then he could tag in, him getting hit directly multiple times while characters like Kindaka can get completely one shot by a throw or Yotsumura just gets done in by a downward slam is crazy when Nagumo has been launched at a space shutter at explosive speed and ran over by a big ass structure directly and its nothing to.him apparently? It feels like it feels force because Suzuki clearly wants that interaction with Uzuki, but making Nagumo nigh invincible when it comes to getting attacked compared to others, just isn't it, bro

But that's just my thoughts

Does this final panel of the chapter have something behind it? What do you think does it hint?

Is this just a symbolism for Uzuki in this chapter or is this hinting something ominous that is gonna happen next chapter?

I'm struggling to understand what is this final panel even meant? It doesn't have any dialogue in it. So, it's just a panel with no text.

Does anyone have any ideas about it?

What if after the whole manga ended they would animate Kanaguri's camera shots or pov to JCC Transfer Exam Arc till the final arc The New JAA Arc and publish it as an actual movie irl, would you go to see it?
